The Very Best Online Resources for Students of Biblical Hebrew

Five resources are particularly useful.

(1) The best online edition of the Hebrew Bible is on offer from the J. Alan Groves Center for Advanced Biblical Research of Westminster Seminary in Philadelphia. It is a faithful reproduction of Codex Leningradensis, although it corrects miniscule errors of the naqdan: compare ריח in Song of Songs 7:9 in BHQ vs. the Westminster electronic edition and BHL. Its usefulness is enhanced because one can strip the Masoretic text of accents and vowels. It is important to be able to read biblical Hebrew without vowels. If you can read Hebrew without vowels, that’s because you know the language. If you can’t, that’s because you don’t. An intermediate to advanced student of ancient Hebrew can learn to read the biblical text without vowels within a short amount of time and with a minimum of error.

(2) How so? Starting with unpointed text, do your best to read it properly. Then check your work against audio recordings of the text of the Hebrew Bible. The best set I know of contains the reading of Avraham Shmuelof and is divided into chapters courtesy of Gary Martin here. Practice makes perfect.

(3) The standard reference grammar of biblical Hebrew, Gesenius-Kautzsch-Cowley, is available online, searchable in wikisource. Everything in the volume, including all the paradigms, is cut-and-pastable. Let’s say you are wondering if the grammar says anything about תְּלָאָה‎, a noun whose pattern you wish to investigate. Or perhaps you wish to see each time the grammar references a particular verse, say Ps 119:14. Stick Kautzsch-Cowley and the item of interest into the Google search engine, and voilà, a list is yours. Check it out.

(4) Dictionaries. Stick a Hebrew word into this search engine, milon.morfix, and see what comes up. For best results, insert the “dictionary” form. Otherwise, you might not get anything appropriate back. The nice thing about this search engine is that lexemes pop up vocalized. (5) This search engine, courtesy of Babylon.com, is helpful because of its thesaurus and “image” functions. The problem with it is that not all biblical Hebrew vocabulary is covered. Milon.morfix is more complete based on a spot check.

So far as I know, a searchable online edition of Brown-Driver-Briggs (BDB) is not available. UPDATE: I take that back – for the scoop on a sort of searchable online edition, courtesy of David Reimer, go here.

But then, those who haven’t already need to break down and purchase a suite of electronic resources from Logos Bible Software or another provider. The research advantages are considerable.

The Fort Hood massacre media orgy covered up the probably more politically significant story of the attack on Muslim Congressional interns and CAIR by David Gaubatz, who co-authored the Muslim Mafia with fellow Islamophobe and Hoover Media Institute fellow Paul Sperry.

Gaubatz is a long-time professional supplier of neo-con disinformation. He is the sole source of delusional right-wing claims that Saddam Hussein had WMDs and shipped them out of the country — something that even George W. Bush does not believe.

Representatives Sue Myrick (R-NC), John Shadegg (R-AZ), Paul Broun (R-GA), and Trent Franks (R-AZ) publicly endorsed The Muslim Mafia in a Capitol Hill press conference on October 14. The book accuses CAIR (Council for American-Islamic Relations) of espionage and subversive jihad against the USA. On the basis of The Muslim Mafia, the four Congresspersons, whose main support comes from Christian Zionists and the Israel Lobby, accused CAIR of a sinister strategic plan to place Muslim interns into Congressional offices to spy on Congress.

In reality, CAIR is a legitimate educational organisation with missions of defending the right of American Muslims to practice Islam and of educating American non-Muslims about Islam in order to improve Muslim-non-Muslim relations. CAIR’s work differs little from those of other educational advocacy and lobby groups, including those that are pro-Israel.

CAIR helps the US government serve the American public better by putting American Muslims on Capitol Hill so that the voice of their constituency can be heard more clearly. Even if a Muslim intern reported back to CAIR, what could CAIR possibly do? CAIR’s power to direct political resources is at least two orders of magnitude less than those of AIPAC.

AIPAC runs non-partisan institutes throughout American colleges and universities explicitly to recruit interns to spy on congressmen. When interns report back to AIPAC on deviation from pro-Israel orthodoxy, AIPAC springs into action either to intimidate the offender into conformity or to target him for political destruction in a poisoning of the American  political process.

Because Gaubatz has long been an Israeli lobby operative, his perception of CAIR’s activities looks like a form of psychological projection of own activities, particularly in regards to his involvement with the Society of Americans for National Existence (SANE), which advocates arresting Muslims for voluntarily practising Islam:

“Whereas, adherence to Islam as a Muslim is prima facie evidence of an act in support of the overthrow of the US government through the abrogation, destruction, or violation of the US Constitution and the imposition of Shariah on the American people...It shall be a felony punishable by 20 years in prison to knowingly act in furtherance of, or to support the, adherence to Shariah.”

Gaubatz is the former head of SANE’s Mapping Shariah Project: “It is our task to conduct an extensive mapping of all the Islamic day schools, mosques, and other identifiable organisations in the US and to determine which ones teach or preach Islamic law, Shariah. This investigation will also map the leadership of these Muslim organisations and their other affiliations.”

Until CAIR outed his racist anti-democratic political views, SANE’s founder David Yerushalmi was a leading activist in Stop the Madrassa, an anti-Muslim organisation connected with Islamic threat monger Daniel Pipes. Stop the Madrassa mobbed-and-smeared Debby Almontaser over a T-shirt bearing the word “Intifada” until she resigned from her position as principal of the Khalil Gibran International Academy.

Gaubatz, Yerushalmi, and Pipes are busy little bees flying all over the place. Silverstein famously received a $4.55 billion 9/11 payment under a double claim on his six-week old World Trade Center insurance policy.

If people like Gaubatz, his friends, his Congressional supporters, and his Zionist funders have their way, not only will the ongoing political prosecutions of Muslim American leaders expand to include practically all Muslims, but the Zionist intelligentsia will also have veto power over anyone seeking to serve in the US government.

The pattern of stigmatisation, marginalisation, demonisation, and punishment of Muslims and of anyone refusing to bow to Zionism is unmistakable. If extreme Israel advocates succeed in the stigmatisation of Muslim interns, yet another category of government jobs will effectively be reserved only to Israel Lobby approved candidates in a process constituting a slow-speed coup killing American democracy and putting ultimate control of the US government into the hands of the hyper-wealthy Israel Lobby.

It is rather impossible to grasp the magnitude of the crimes against humanity performed by the Jewish state in the name of the Jewish people unless one elaborates on Jewish culture in the light of Judaic teaching.

Zionism was founded as a secular movement. It was there to provide the emancipated Diaspora Jew with a ‘national home land’ of his or her own. However, Zionism was rather effective in transforming the Old Testament from a spiritual text into a land registry. As the truth of Israeli barbarism is unfolding a devastating continuum is being established between Israeli murderous policies and Judaic Goy hating.

It would be fair to argue that Judaic teaching is not monolithic. As we know, one of the only Jewish collectives that stands along the Palestinians call themselves the Torah Jews (Neturei Karta), a Jewish orthodox sect. In other words, the Torah must have a humanist side to it.

The following is a review of Torat ha-Melekh, a “kind of guide for anyone who ponders the question of if and when it is permissible to take the life of a non-Jew”. It was published by Ma’ariv Israel's second biggest paper. It is a must read. Wiesel Explains Jewish Zionist Rapaciousness

At BU Hillel last night, Elie Wiesel told attendees:

“I resent the argument that we needed a Holocaust for Israel,” Wiesel said. “It seems like it is a reward for suffering. No. Even Israel isn’t enough compensation.”

Alison Weir recently described similar sentiments among Israeli Jewish doctors and black market organ traders:

In her Forum 13 lecture Scheper-Hughes discussed the two motivations of Israeli traffickers. One was greed, she said. The other was somewhat chilling: "Revenge, restitution—reparation for the Holocaust."

She described speaking with Israeli brokers who told her "it's kind of 'an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth. We're going to get every single kidney and liver and heart that we can. The world owes it to us.'"

Scheper-Hughes says that she "even heard doctors saying that."

Wiesel and the vast majority of Jewish Zionists never address what Jews would owe non-Jews for the last 150 years of massive financial fraud and heinous murder or mayhem.

This recent history of Jewish barbarism both in Europe and also in the ME includes targeted assassinations, mass murder, ethnic cleansing, and genocide.

Absolutely and relatively Jews have inflicted far more suffering on non-Jews than Jews experienced during WW2 (jewish financial aggression, worldwide economic nakba, jewish peril 1933 versus 2009).

Wiesel scorns Holocaust deniers and revisionists. Yet as a completely ethically clueless Jewish Zionist, he is a Nakba denier and never worries that it might have been wrong to steal Palestine from its native population, which had neither genuine involvement in the Holocaust and nor even much history of contact with European Jews.

Wiesel's mentality is probably a variant on the thinking of the Lubavitcher movement, to which Wiesel is very close.

A very small but significant minority of Israelis, including military officers and governmental ministers, hold extremist supremacist views relevant to organ extraction. In 1996, Jewish Week reported that Rabbi Yitzhak Ginsburgh, a leader of the Lubavitch sect of Judaism and the dean of a religious Jewish school in a West Bank settlement, stated: "If a Jew needs a liver, can you take the liver of an innocent non-Jew passing by to save him? The Torah would probably permit that." Ginzburgh elaborated: "Jewish life has infinite value. There is something infinitely more holy and unique about Jewish life than non-Jewish life." Those who deny the Holocaust are not only unworthy of any respect, but Boston University professor Elie Wiesel said at a forum Monday that he chooses to disregard them completely.

“These people are mentally and morally deranged,” Wiesel said. “They are not a part of my world.”

Holocaust survivor and noted author Wiesel answered questions concerning his experiences with the Holocaust, his thoughts on Israel and his aspirations for the Jewish community and education to a group of over 100 attendees gathered for Wiesel’s 33rd Open Forum at the Hillel House.

Wiesel emphasized that teachers must be paid higher salaries and should instill a passion for learning within students.

“My greatest accomplishment is my classroom,“ he said. “I would pay the students to come.”

Wiesel said fifth grade students may be too young to hear the Holocaust’s message.

“I don’t think we should impose it on children so young,” Wiesel said. “It’s counterproductive and young children must be ready, eager, willing to learn.”

When talking about how the Holocaust is portrayed on screen, Wiesel explained that even all the films depicting the Holocaust never teach him anything new.

“I only favor documentaries, not films,” Wiesel said. “I read all the books on the subject of the Holocaust and I have never learned something I didn’t know about. That never happens.”

Even the creation of Israel is not reimbursement enough for the horrors and deaths of the Holocaust, and the only thing that might be is the coming of the Messiah, Wiesel said.

“I resent the argument that we needed a Holocaust for Israel,” Wiesel said. “It seems like it is a reward for suffering. No. Even Israel isn’t enough compensation.”

Wiesel suggested there be a day of fasting in commemoration of those who lost their lives in the Holocaust, Wiesel said.

“In the past, whenever a community suffered, they proclaimed a fast day,” he said.

On a lighter note, Wiesel also discussed his interests growing up.

“As a child, I was only interested in Jewish subjects,” he said. “Today I read Plato and Shakespeare and enjoy it.”

Audience members said they attended the forum for different reasons but overall enjoyed Wiesel’s insight.

“Having read the book in high school, I wasn’t about to pass up the opportunity to meet Elie Wiesel,” College of Arts and Sciences sophomore Parul Agarwal said about the book “Night.”

School of Education junior Dana Ellis said she was also inspired by Wiesel’s book “Night” because she feels a connection to his story and chose to attend the event because Wiesel is “enlightening.”

“My grandfather is also a Holocaust survivor so I connected to it on a very deep level,” she said. “His work has inspired me to further read about the Holocaust.”

College of Communication freshman Christopher Walker said he had never heard Wiesel speak before the forum.

“I thought he was very witty and the forum was very interesting,” he said “I had always read his books and I was still mesmerized.”

The Jews are eager to show their Polish friend that they have become sturdy farmers themselves.

They show the Poles the chicken coop, which the Jews light part of the night in order to accelerate egg-laying to produce twice as many eggs.

The peasant gives a big smile at his friends and says, "My dear little kikes, how clever! Now that you don't have honest Poles to cheat, you cheat the chickens!"

Nowadays, Jewish Zionists operate such high level swindles that Poles (or chickens) are no longer targets and only serve as props.

PressTV: Israel gaffe reveals 'Iran ship photos' were forged

After Israel released photos it said proved that a huge shipment of weapons for Hezbollah came from Tehran, Iranian news agencies publish evidence showing that the photos are forged.

Israeli naval sources recently claimed that they found a large cache of Iranian-made arms when they stormed a vessel near Cyprus in the Mediterranean Sea.

They claimed that the ship was heading for the Hezbollah resistance movement, either in Lebanon or Syria.

Iran instantly dismissed the claims, issuing a statement with which it condemned Israel's many acts of piracy in international waters.

But the Israeli government persisted in its accusations, releasing what it claimed to be photos and documents in an effort to implicate the Iranian government in the matter.

The photos and documents were carried by a number of leading newspapers in the West, including The Los Angeles Times.

"The Israeli regime has made a fool of itself with regards to what it claims to be evidence that Iran was sending weapons to Hezbollah," IRNA news agency said on Monday.

"Take a close look at the photos, one of which merely shows a couple of boxes labeled 'Ministry of Sepah' without providing corroborative evidence that they came from Iran, and you will see the huge gaffe committed by Israel," it added.

The article explained that Iran's Ministry of Sepah gave its place to the Defense Ministry more than twenty years ago. "So this begs the question of what the emblem of a nonexistent body was doing on the cargo?"

"It seems the American daily has failed to get its facts straight, or on the other hand, maybe it is getting its cue from the Israeli leadership," said the news agency.

"In any case, the newspaper should know that if a country plans to send a secret arms cargo to another, it will not brand the shipment with a full description of the batch."

"Tel Aviv's baseless claims [about Iran providing Hezbollah with military] are evidently designed to justify another Israeli attack on Lebanon."

Yadollah Javani, the Director of the Political Bureau of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), said last week that the claims were intended to divert attention from a UN report detailing Israeli war crimes in Gaza.

"These accusations are nothing but an Israeli ruse to deflect international attention from the Goldstone report as they move closer to the war crimes tribunal [at the International Criminal Court (ICC)]," noted Brigadier General Javani.

He was referring to the 575-page report headed by Jewish South African judge Richard Goldstone, which detailed numerous acts of war crimes and human rights violations committed by Israeli soldiers during their incursion into Gaza.

"Israeli officials have a longstanding tendency to level baseless accusations against others when they are in serious trouble," he added.

Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri also dismissed the charges, questioning why the Israelis had failed to detain the crew, if the ship was supposedly carrying weapons.

Berri said that while Hezbollah has the right to obtain arms from “anywhere in the world,” it is pretty obvious that Israel made the claims to fudge the issue of its war crimes in Gaza.

The captain and the crew of a ship loaded with weapons seized by Israel commandos are from Poland.

The ship, MS Francop, was detained on Tuesday near Cyprus, about 100 miles off the Israeli coast. After Israeli commandos stormed Francop they found it was carrying more than 60 tones of missiles, rockets and anti-tank weapons.

The French news agency AFP is reporting that the captain and the crew of the German-owned ship are Polish. According to Israeli deputy Defense Minister Matan Vilnai, however, the crew was not aware of the cargo's contents.

The vessel, owned by the freight delivery company UFS and sailing under an Antiguan flag, was on route to Syria.

Paniatois Emirs, a spokesman for the UFS company, told the Israeli Ynet news web site: "We only rented the ship, We did not know there were weapons. We only knew that we were delivering containers, but we are not legally permitted to check what is inside them.”

In 1962, U.S. Attorney General Robert F. Kennedy ordered AIPAC's parent organization, the American Zionist Council (AZC), to register as an Israeli foreign agent. The AZC had been found moving funding from the Jewish Agency in Jerusalem into lobbying startup groups across the US, as well as to AIPAC's founder, Isaiah L. "Si" Kenen. with accusations of Jewish human sacrifice during the 12th - 16th century and also
with certain biblical passages that can be read as a magical ritual promising wealth in return for sacrificing gentiles.

In Probable Jewish Extraction -- Hijab Killer, I point out that Alexander Wiens, who "ritualistically" knifed Marwa al-Sherbini to death in a Saxon court room, was probably Jewish.

Wiens comes from Perm, where the extremely anti-Christian Jewish Lubavitcher cult has taken hold.

[Because the name Marwa is so close Maria, which is the commonest form of the name of the mother of Jesus, the mere existence of a Muslim woman named Marwa could not help but produce homicidal rage in someone under Lubavitcher influence.]

In addition, they practice a form of religiously sanctioned dishonesty: Lubovitcher Rebbe and Jewish Taqiya (تقية).

Resumption of Temple Sacrifice is usually associated with the Messianic era in Jewish religious literature, and Zionist Jewish institutions have begun to train Jewish priests to bring back the ritual sacrifice of the 2nd Temple period. According to the rules of offerings, the Priests consumed those that were not completely burnt.

The ancient Greek writer Apion reports the sacrifice of a Greek foreigner in the 2nd Jerusalem Temple during the Greco-Roman period: Judeophobia: attitudes toward the Jews in the ancient world by Peter Schäfer (p. 176).

Now the BBC reports that possibly ritualistic cannibalism is practiced in Perm.

When I put it all together, I have to conclude that Fundamentalist Jewish Cannibal Zionism is taking root throughout the world!

'Body sold' to Russia kebab shop

Police in Russia have arrested three homeless men suspected of killing a man, eating part of the body and selling other parts to a kebab shop.

The men were held in the city of Perm, some 1,400km (870 miles) east of Moscow, local investigators said.

Their statement said that the suspects had targeted the 25-year-old victim out of "personal hostility".

It was not clear when the incident occurred. The men - who have not been named - have been charged with murder.

The investigators said on Friday that the body of the man had been found in a forested area near a public transport stop in Perm.

They said the three men attacked their victim with knives and a hammer.

"After carrying out the attack, the corpse was dismembered. Part of it was eaten and part was also sold to a kebab and pie kiosk," their statement said.

It was not immediately clear if any customers had been served.

American and European political and economic systems for the benefit of Judonia, its oligarchy, and its intelligentsia.

In the current situation the Bundists and Yiddishists have dropped out of the equation, but we are still stuck with the Zionist conspiracy here in the USA, where the vast majority of political scientists unlike their Polish and Russian counterparts have little familiarity with conspiratorial political history that could serve as a lens to understand how the Zionist conspiracy operates and destroys the US political economic system.

Former US Ambassador Daniel Kurtzer showed how deeply Zionists have penetrated the US government when he participated in the Nov. 10 ME Peace Process Panel at the Nation Press Club.

Kurtzer starts speaking at 66:00. He very quickly drops into Hasbarah speak

when he categorically rejects the one-state solution,
when he denies linkage of domestic and foreign politics,
when he Zionistically babbles about the threat that Arab states perceive in a nuclear Iran, and
when he equates Palestinians refugees with Zionist squatters.

Kurtzer asserts that the last 80 years proves the non-viability of the one-state solution when nothing is clearer in contemporary international politics than the utter failure of partition as a solution.

Kurtzer distorts the conflict when he denies the domestic component of foreign policy in an age of globalization. Obviously, a Zionist has an interest in denying transnational Jewish-Zionist and Arab-Zionist aspects to US foreign policy because Jewish Zionists are so thoroughly embedded in the USA government.

Yet Kurtzer's position is indefensible. Binyamin Netanyahu, Michael Oren, Dore Gold and other senior Israeli leaders are all essentially American Israel Lobby operatives that have been lent to the State of Israel to order to optimize Israeli Lobby control.

The Israel Lobby has also put a tremendous number of agents within the Obama administration. Rahm Emanuel and David Axelrod are leaders among the Zionist subversives,

whose primary loyalties lie with the "Jewish people" in a very dangerous form of ethnic fundamentalism or ethnic monism and
who are the instruments of Israel Lobby control over the USA particularly in matters of foreign policy and economics.

No Benefits Whatsoever to USA from Alliance with State of Israel

The Zionist State and the Zionist imperial system, of which Israel is a rather small part, functions like a leech sucking the life's blood of the USA and every single American.

Without the power of Jewish Zionist subversives throughout the government, the economy and the media, the USA would simply dismantle Zionist Israel and put its criminal leaders on trial as it effectively did with the Baathist Iraq.

While Kurtzer like many American Jewish Zionists may simply be ethically handicapped, there is something far more sinister in his equation of (1) Palestinians brutally expelled from their homes according to longstanding criminal Zionist plans with (2) Zionist squatters immorally living on stolen Palestinian land in contravention of international law, for he is spouting standard Zionist talking points. When Kurtzer expresses such ideas, he calls into question where his loyalties lay during his whole tenure as a US diplomat.

It hardly takes a Harvard degree for a patriotic American -- something the Kurtzer apparently is not -- to realize that pandering Jewish racism and immorality is a non-starter as a basis for the USA to craft a viable international system in the ME.

Kurtzer may betray the source of his fundamentally un-American biases and lack of ethics when he mentions his mentor former Columbia Professor J.C. Hurewitz, who wrote The Struggle for Palestine. Hurewitz' book covers up Zionist crimes far more than it provides any reasonable understanding of the politics and events surrounding the theft of Palestine by E. European invaders.

Hurewitz like the vast majority of Jewish Zionists from the beginning of the Zionist movement until the present day believed that Jews had an absolute right to plunder and kill non-Jews with impunity. Like his protégé Kurtzer, Hurewitz was a psychopath.

Such a mental aberration does not necessarily disqualify a person from the foreign service. In fact, in some cases it might even increase effectiveness, but Kurtzer's Zionist mentality seems to have made him incapable of providing rational analysis to the US government.

Zionist Jews would of course like to believe that because of the Iranian threat Israel and Arab states share an interest that might outweigh the Palestine question, but a competent or loyal US state department official would point out that the Iranian threat presents an opportunity for Arab states to justify need for US military aid and US foreign policy concessions that the US would not otherwise have to make.

Kurtzer shows a similar Zionist blindness in his discussion of PA actions against the Palestinian resistance in Qalqilya (83:00). His analysis may be correct, but it is Zionist not American. A patriotic US state department official would also point out that from another viewpoint, the PA could be seen as acting like Quisling Nazi-occupied government against the valiant anti-Nazi resistance.

Kurtzer's clear disloyalty to the USA forces careful attention to the meaning of opposition to settlements by Zionists. The other Jewish Zionist panelist Daniel Levy, who directs the ME Initiative of the New America Foundation, supported Kurtzer's position.

Both Kurtzer and Levy indicated that the US government already has the means in place prevent or to discourage settlement building. Kurtzer pointed out that the US government since 1989 has had been able to monitor how Israel uses US aid while Levy recommended that the IRS strip tax deductible status from contributions to organizations promoting settlement building.

Instead of directing the US government to undertake anti-settlement action, Obama has failed to issue some obvious executive orders and has even brought exceptionally dangerous Zionists like Harvard Professor and former AIG director Marty Feldstein into the US government.

During his tenure at AIG Feldstein helped developed financial instruments (1) that made it possible for the State of Israel to obviate US monitoring of aid allocation and (2) that later formed the models for the CDOs, CDSs, and synthetic CDOs that brought the US economy to its knees in 2008.

The apparent intra-Zionist settlement debate reflects a power struggle between "Labor" factions, whose power has shrunk tremendously within the Zionist imperial system since the late 1970s, and the maximalist Jabotinskyian Zionists, who have less reluctance to wage full-scale ethnonational financial warfare.

Like Feldstein, Emanuel, whose father was almost certainly mass murderer in a Jabotinskian militia during the 1947-8 genocidal Zionist aggression against Palestinians, probably himself belongs to the dominant Jabotinskian faction.

As much as the Jabotinskians and remnant Labor Zionists are split over political strategies, both groups are panicked at increasing scrutiny of Zionist political and economic power that has rendered the US a dependent and intimidated client state within the Zionist power structure.

Zionist fears indicate that Zionists consider themselves vulnerable. The disagreements of Zionists may ultimately provide opportunities for an American anti-Zionist resistance to defeat the Zionist conspiracy that has stolen America from its citizenry.

As deeply as dangerous Zionist subversives like Kurtzer, Feldstein, and Emanuel have penetrated into the US government, there is still hope to free America and to liberate the world from the Zionist menace.

On Wednesday, the NY Times Dealbook email pointed to an article about Ralph Cioffi and Ralph Tannin, whom I know from working on Wall Street: Bear Stearns Managers Acquitted of Fraud Charges.

While Cioffi and Tannin are probably as greedy as the commenters claim, personally they were reasonably decent for bankers. Their role in the financial meltdown was small. Some of the major culprits are now serving in the Obama Administration:

While Jewish Wallstreeters like Madoff can often count on kid-glove treatment from regulators and the US attorney thanks to the power of corrupt Jewish social networks, Cioffi being of Italian ancestry might not have been quite as plugged-in as some of his Jewish colleagues. Tannin is half-Jewish as I remember and may have been considered expendable.

The Dealbook email also included a followup on Intel-Galleon Group insider trading scandal: Rajaratnam Moves to Unseal 2000 Case Against Informant. Several people have asked me to write up my impressions of the Goldstone event at Brandeis last week.

It was vile. Goldstone and the sponsoring organizations at Brandeis and the Brandeis administration allowed a representative of the Zionist occupation regime - Dore Gold, the former Zionist regime ambassador to the UN - to speak at the event to rebut Goldstone. Goldstone himself is a self-professed Zionist. His report makes accusations against Hamas and other Palestinian groups as well as against the Zionist regime. Pro-Palestinian students at Brandeis objected in advance to the format of the event and requested that Goldstone be the sole speaker at the event or that a Palestinian speaker be invited as well. These requests were denied.

During his speech Goldstone said that "Israel" was defending itself and had a right to do so and was only guilty of using disproportionate force. Goldstone only spoke briefly about Zionist war crimes in Gaza. He did mention the Zionists' killing of tens of thousands of chickens in the Gaza Strip. Most of Goldstone's speech was about the mandate of his investigation and about his support for "Israel", and he of course did make accusations against Hamas. Goldstone did speak at slightly greater length about Zionist war crimes during the question period. Dore Gold spoke for twice as long as Goldstone and falsely accused Hamas of breaking the truce or refusing to renew the truce (no one corrected him). Gold claimed that "Israel" went to great lengths not to harm civillians. Gold had all sorts of slides and little movies to vilify Hamas. Some pro-Palestinian people inside did disrupt Gold briefly by standing up with names of murdered Palestinians taped to their clothes. But a large portion of the audience were rightwing Zionist and applauding Gold during the question period, a young Palestinian woman managed to ask a question. One of the moderators tried to shut her up after her first sentence saying that it was a comment rather than a question. The moderators had allowed all the other audience questioners to speak at length giving background to their questions. The Palestinian woman then turned it into a question - 'How did Goldstone feel about there being no Palestinian voice speaking at the event' - and the moderator said that that question wasn't allowed because it should really be a question for the organizers of the event rather than for Goldstone or Gold. Goldstone answered anyway and said that he thought there should have been a Palestinian speaker. However Goldstone is the chair of the advisory board of Brandeis' International Center of Ethics, Justice and Public Life. This is the organization at Brandeis that organized this Goldstone event. So I blame Goldstone himself for the format.

I didn't get into the main room. I watched on screen in the overflow room. I had a "Let Hamas Speak" sign.

My objection to the occupation and endorsement of a return to the 1967 borders made no difference. In practice, I became ostracized.”

Many Jewish researchers simply do not discuss the issues of the Holocaust forthrightly or honestly.

Below is an article discussing a movie about Rezso Kasztner. Even though the issues were simple, the author cannot quite bring herself to explain why he evoked so much anger that he was assassinated.

Kasztner engaged is a form of triage in choosing who he could rescue. He did not make an effort to inform Hungarian Jews of German Nazi plans while he was negotiating with the Nazis. Of course, if he had, negotiations would have ceased. After WW2 because of an apparent feeling that he owed a debt of honor, Kasztner provided assistance to some of the Nazis with whom he dealt while they were being tried for crimes against humanity.

Killing Kasztner: The Jew Who Dealt with Nazis

Killing Kasztner is a new documentary film that was nearly a decade in the making. The film brings national and international attention to the story of Rezso (also known as Rudolf and Israel) Kasztner, a Hungarian Jew who rescued more than 1,600 people with a train that eventually went to Switzerland in 1944. Kasztner has been vilified for negotiating with Nazis to allow Hungarian Jews to board the train to freedom.

He was a Jew assassinated by a Jew during the post-World War II political turmoil in Israel, where he had resettled. Examining Kasztner's legacy in the documentary are historians, journalists and survivors of the train, including his only child, a daughter, and his three granddaughters. Even his assassin mines the past in conversations with director Gaylen Ross, who filmed mostly in Israel.

Survivors of the Kasztner train include Egon Mayer, a prominent sociologist who was a pioneer in outreach to interfaith families and unaffiliated Jews. Mayer was founding director of the Jewish Outreach Institute and published numerous books, including Love and Tradition: Marriage between Christians and Jews (Plenum/1987).

Mayer's avocation was the history of Kasztner and his rescue efforts.

Early in the film, Holocaust survivors in New York at the Museum of Jewish Heritage contentiously debate Kasztner's legacy. Egon Mayer was a speaker at that June 2001 event, where he said "that a rescue effort by Rezso Kasztner was the single largest successful rescue by Jews during the Holocaust. We also know the accusations leveled against Kasztner and the ultimate price that he paid was leveled against no one else. And so there's a huge question that hangs over this entire story. Why?"

Comparing Psychosis: Hasan, Media, Nation

When US Army Major Dr. Nidal Hassan went postal at Ft Hood, he presented media Zionists and Islamophobes with an opportunity to fabricate a slanderous mental association to link Palestinians or Muslims with a spree killer.

Islamophobe David Gaubatz claims:

Israel has endured ‘suicide/attacks’ similar to this for many years. Malik Nabal Hasan is a terrorist supporting the ideology of Al Qaeda, Hamas, Hezbollah, and yes, CAIR. In Palestine, the leaders send out the young and vulnerable to carry out the murders in the name of Islam. The same is happening in America.

Gaubatz is spewing a Zionist "big lie."

In the history of the Israel-Palestine conflict, the incident most similar to Ft. Hood albeit with some significant differences is the February 24, 1994 Ibrahimi Mosque Massacre in which fanatic Jewish-American West Bank settler IDF Major Dr. Baruch Goldstein slaughtered 39-52 Palestinians during a prayer service.

In Confronting Nidal Malik Hassan's Erstwhile "Martyrdom", Zionist Islamophobe Andrew Bostom tries to argue that Islam encourages Muslims to kill non-Muslims execution-style. The claim seems to be some form of Zionist psychological projection. I know of no case of a Palestinian that has killed Zionist Jews execution-style, but in a famous atrocity former IDF soldier Ami Popper killed seven Palestinians execution-style in 1991.

The US media, in which American Jews are disproportionately involved, has focused obsessively on Hassan's Palestinian and Muslim background. Yet American news organizations are studiously ignoring both the case of American Jewish terrorist and murder Yaakov Teitel and also that of Hijab Murderer Alexander Wiens, who is probably of Russian Jewish extraction.

Just imagine how much coverage a German Turk would have received in the US media if he had brutally killed a young Orthodox Jewish shtirntikhl (Jewish hijab) wearing mother in a German court.

Most of the coverage of the Ft. Hood killings has been nonsense as Salon pundit Glenn Greenwald wrote in "A media orgy of rumors, speculation and falsehoods".

In "The media's silly Fort Hood coverage" Mark Benjamin elaborated Greenwald's point

by addressing the long standing signs of Hasan's psychological disturbance and
by explaining with commonsense analysis why Army medicine dropped the ball

almost as badly as the US Media has in its Islamophobic and Zionist feeding frenzy.

Even though former WSJ reporter Asra Nomani usually produces good journalism, e.g., Asra Nomani on Aasiya Beheading, she has contributed to the dysfunctional media coverage. Possibly because of her relationship with the late Daniel Pearl, she has a tendency to confuse piety with extremism.

In addition, as an Indian-origin Muslim Asra may have some issues with Muslims of Arab background.

In Inside the Gunman's Mosque, Asra finds sinister extremism in a fairly typical semantic dispute between a Bangladeshi Muslim scholar and an Arabic-speaking Muslim:

Not long ago, inside the quiet library of the Muslim Community Center here in Silver Spring, Maryland, a suburb of Washington, D.C., Golam Akhter, a local Bangladeshi-American civil engineer, 67, got into a fierce debate with a young Muslim doctor over how to interpret the concept of “jihad” within Islam. Akhter argued, “Jihad means an inner struggle, fighting against corruption and injustice.”

The young doctor responded. “That’s not a correct interpretation. Jihad means holy war. When your religion isn’t safe, you have to fight for it. If someone attacks you, you must fight them. That is jihad. You can kill someone who is harming you.”

Hasan's explanation seems more like common sense than like extremism.

As a point of reference, the Jewish concept equivalent to jihad is milhemet mitsvah, which is literally war by commandment and unlike jihad means holy war in practically all contexts.

A milhemet mitsvah is far harder to interpret metaphorically than jihad is. Since 1947 all Zionist aggressions including the recent Gaza Rampage have been declared milhemot mitsvah (Jewish holy wars) by the Israeli Rabbinate.

Jewish Zionists have drained the concept of extremism of all meaning. Zionists believe that Jews have the right to plunder and to kill with impunity on the basis of an etymological relation between the word "Jew" and the word "Judea." Zionism is so extreme that it is murderously psychotic.

Over the last 10 years extremist Jewish Zionists often motivated by religion are responsible for slaughters numbering millions and expulsions numbering in the 10s of millions.

During the same time period the comparable numbers for "extremist" Muslim groups are approximately 10-20,000 killed and possibly a few hundred thousand refugees (by a very loose definition of expulsion). In many cases the Muslim violence has often resulted from politics orchestrated by extremist Jewish Zionists. (According to Jewish ethical concepts, Jewish Zionists have committed the most grievous sin of "lifnei iver" or putting a stumbling block before the blind.)

Besides enmeshment in Zionist casuistry about extremism, Asra has some confusion about the nature of belief:

A person, who truly believes in God, will obviously put his duties to God before all else, and the American system acknowledges that a citizen may have a religious identity and a national identity. Because God has yet to let us know his position on US national policies, Muslims cannot know for a certainty that their religious identity conflicts with American identity.

Jewish Zionists have poisoned the American system of multiple overlapping identities because they conflate religion with Zionist ethnonationalism and expect Jews treasonously to act on behalf of the Jewish people (and not on behalf of God) even to the detriment of US interests.

Not only have Zionists successfully spread this idea among Jews, but they have even created a new form of Zionism for Jewish and non-Jewish fellow travelers as well as another form of Zionism for useful idiots.

Fellow traveler Zionism is Friedmanism, which combines traditional Eastern European exploitative business practices with Zionist concepts of ethnonational financial warfare.

Anti-Zionist historian Prof. Ilan Pappe, one of the most important "New Historians", was scheduled to speak last weekend at the Pedagogical Institute of Munich. But a letter received from the "Israeli-German association of Munich", claiming that Pappe's lecture would turn into "an anti-Israeli propaganda show," led the Munich Municipality to reconsider the event.

The municipality eventually did not let Pappe use the room, claiming its decision was prompted by fears of violent clashes breaking out in the area. The Munich police insisted that there was no danger of fear for the security of those attending the lecture.

The call to stop Israeli construction in the West Bank is there to leave us with the false impression that the robbery of Palestine started in 1967. The facts are known to many of us, but not to all. The vast majority of Palestinians were expelled from their towns, villages, fields and orchards in 1948.

What seems as an American peace initiative putting pressure on Israel to halt its expansion into the West Bank is in fact an agenda that is promoted by Zionists within the US Administration who realise like the late Sharon, that the only chance for the Jewish state to survive the next decade, is to shrink into a little Jewish shtetle (ghetto). What author and pundit Glen Greenwald has described as the "Ft. Hood ... media orgy of rumors, speculation and falsehoods" has at least temporarily covered up the probably more significant story of the attack on Muslim congressional interns and CAIR by four congressmen and David Gaubatz, who co-authored the Muslim Mafia with fellow Islamophobe and Hoover Media Institute fellow Paul Sperry.

In a recent Front Page Magazine Interview by Jamie Glazov, Gaubatz explicitly linked CAIR with the Ft. Hood Massacre:

Expect more. Israel has endured ‘suicide/attacks’ similar to this for many years. Malik Nabal Hasan is a terrorist supporting the ideology of Al Qaeda, Hamas, Hezbollah, and yes, CAIR. In Palestine, the leaders send out the young and vulnerable to carry out the murders in the name of Islam. The same is happening in America.

Gaubatz is using a big lie to cover a more subtle insinuation.

In the history of the Israel-Palestine conflict, the incident most similar to Ft. Hood albeit with some significant differences is the February 24, 1994 Ibrahimi Mosque Massacre in which fanatic Jewish-American West Bank settler IDF Major Dr. Baruch Goldstein slaughtered 39-52 Palestinians during a prayer service.

Gaubatz intends for the false connection of Israel with America to create receptivity to an implicit linkage of CAIR with al-Qaeda, Hamas, and Hezbollah organizations.

In the Neocon Zionist propaganda of the War on Terror, Hamas and Hezbollah are murderous anti-Israel anti-American terrorist organiztions while al-Qaeda is a vast international jihadist organization at war with the West. The Muslim Mafia, which Rep. Sue Myrick (R-NC), John Shadegg (R-AZ), Paul Broun (R-GA), and Trent Franks (R-AZ) publicly endorsed in a Capitol Hill press conference on Oct. 14, extends the mythology to accuse CAIR (Council for American-Islamic Relations) of espionage and of subversive jihad against the USA.

In reality, CAIR is a legitimate 501(c)(3) educational organization with missions of defending the right of American Muslims to practice Islam and of educating American non-Muslims about Islam in order to improve Muslim-non-Muslim relations.

On the basis of The Muslim Mafia, the four Congressmen, whose main support comes from Christian Zionists and the Israel Lobby, accused CAIR of a sinister strategic plan to place Muslim interns into Congressional offices to spy on Congressmen.

The claim is an Islamophobic delusion. CAIR’s strategic plan differed little from those of other educational advocacy and lobby groups including those which are pro-Israel.

When organizations like CAIR serve their constituencies by putting their own people on Capitol Hill so that the voice of their constituency can be heard more clearly, they help the American government serve the American public better.

The Israel Lobby version of this practice is different. AIPAC runs non-partisan institutes throughout the American college and university system explicitly to recruit interns to spy on congressman as an AIPAC recruiter explicitly told a Harvard Kennedy School audience of which I was a member in January 2003.

When Zionist interns acting as spies report back to AIPAC on deviation from pro-Israel orthodoxy, AIPAC -- in a poisoning of the American political process -- springs into action either to intimidate the offending congressman into conformity or to target him for political destruction.

Exactly for whom the four congressmen believed Muslim interns were spying was never particularly clear, and they implied that an American Muslim organization became the equivalent of the most paranoid conceptualization of al-Qaida simply by attempting to educate congressmen about American Muslim interests and issues.

Even if a Muslim intern reported back to CAIR, what could CAIR possibly do? CAIR's effective resources are at least two orders of magnitude less than those of AIPAC.

Because Gaubatz has long been an operative in the Israel Lobby, his perception of CAIR’s activities looks like a form of psychological projection of own activities.

Glen Greenwald has pointed out that Gaubatz has been a major supplier of Neocon disinformatsia, for he is the sole source of delusional right-wing claims that Saddam had WMDs and shipped them out of the country during the disorder of the collapse of Baathist Iraq -- something that George W. Bush does not even believe.

Until recently Gaubatz was closely connected with the Society of Americans for National Existence (SANE), where he headed the Mapping Sharia project. Here is the project definition:

It is our task to conduct an extensive mapping of all the Islamic day schools, mosques, and other identifiable organizations in the US and to determine which ones teach or preach Islamic law, Sharia

This investigation will also map the leadership of these Muslim organizations and their other affiliations. We will also attempt to uncover any related businesses used or run by the organizations as fronts for money laundering and other illicit activities.

Finally, we will examine and map any potential targets situated near these organizations, such as city, county, and federal government buildings, schools and universities, US military installations, major utility or infrastructure sites (i.e., nuclear installations, pipelines, water supply, etc.), and transportation hubs.

A vigilante effort entailing only invasion of privacy, harassment, and intimidation was not Islamophobic enough for Gaubatz:

The Mapping Project is vital as long term U.S. policy and as an educational tool for the American public and law enforcement, but I want to utilize my skills and time ensuring our elected officials implement legal action now against Islamic scholars and their organizations who advocate the destruction of America, as Ahmadinejad (Iranian President) has often stated is what our friends in Israel will face.

Based on hundreds of visits throughout the U.S. to Islamic Centers conducting first-hand research, our country faces a 'grave' national security danger by many Saudi and Pakistani trained Islamic scholars advocating the destruction of America. We have innocent Muslim children throughout America being taught to hate the U.S., our U.S. Constitution, our law enforcement and our military personnel. I do not believe our country has 'years' to wait for policy change within our government. If our leaders do not understand by now, it is highly unlikely they will 'catch on' anytime soon. I will help them. How?

I will conduct CT research in selected cities. The research will be very basic and a type anyone could conduct if they knew who distributes and what violent materials to look for at Islamic Centers for the Muslim children to study (again all children are innocent, it is adults who teach them). I will then focus on the selected city to do everything I can legally (working with local law enforcement) complete investigations are conducted on Islamic leaders advocating the overthrow of our country.

During the research in selected cities I will obtain evidence even an attorney directly out of law school could understand is a criminal offense being committed by Islamic leaders and a danger to the children being taught to kill innocent people.

I ask any U.S. prosecutor (state or federal) this basic question:

"If leaders of a local Baptist church were teaching their worshippers to overthrow (treason and sedition) the U.S. Government and to kill anyone who does not adhere to their beliefs, would you(Prosecutor)seek charges against the person or group? If 'YES' then you owe it to the American people of all races, religions, and cultures to do the same at Islamic Centers.

SANE has proposed arresting Muslims for voluntarily observing of Sharia:

"Whereas, adherence to Islam as a Muslim is prima facie evidence of an act in support of the overthrow of the U.S. Government through the abrogation, destruction, or violation of the U.S. Constitution and the imposition of Shari'a on the American People...It shall be a felony punishable by 20 years in prison to knowingly act in furtherance of, or to support the, adherence to Islam." (The last reference to "adherence to Islam" was changed to "adherence to Shari'a" in the final version.)

Like Gaubatz SANE’s founder David Yerushalmi has been active in efforts to prevent Muslims from serving as US government officials. Until CAIR outed his racist and anti-democratic political views, Yerushalmi was a leading activist in Stop the Madrassa, which mobbed-and-smeared Debby Almontaser until she resigned from her position as designated principal of the Khalil Gibran International Academy (KGIA).

Yerushalmi's Stop The Madrassa activities connect him with Daniel Pipes, who scare-mongers the legal Islamist threat and who is fairly closely connected with European Islamophobes like Geert Wilders, Danish Ukrainian Jewish anti-Muslim activist Flemming Rose, and Danish Islamophobe Lars Hedegaard. In addition Yerushalmi has also claimed to serve as attorney for Frank Gaffney, Alex Alexiev and Martyn Burke, the producers of the controversial PBS documentary "Islam vs. Islamists: Voices from the Muslim Center."

Obviously, people like Gaubatz, Yerushalmi, and Pipes are busy little bees flying all over the place.

Who funds them?

The biography of Yerushalmi on the website of the Institute for Advanced Strategic and Political Studies (IASPS) in Jerusalem provides some information on the money connection:

From the Institute's founding, Yerushalmi took a leading role as a substantial financial contributor, in addition to serving on the Board of Trustees for over a decade and as Chairman for more than five years. In 1991, teaming up with the Institute's policy experts, Yerushalmi was instrumental in establishing the Israel Export Development Co., Ltd., as an entrepreneurial policy tool to initiate radical free market reforms in Israel. Working along side fellow board members and shareholders such as Robert Tishman, Jerry Speyer, Larry Silverstein, Lawrence Tisch, Eugene Grant and Sy Syms, Yerushalmi was appointed the company's CEO and Chairman.

IASPS commissioned leading Neocons to produce A Clean Break: A New Strategy for Securing the Realm. When many of these Neocons became senior policy makers in the Bush administration, this document became the blueprint for Bush administration ME policy.

The pattern of stigmatization, marginalization, demonization, and punishment of Muslims and of anyone that does not kowtow to hyper-wealthy Zionists is unmistakable. If extreme Israel advocates succeed in the stigmatization of Muslim interns, yet another category of government jobs will in effect be reserved only to Israel Lobby approved candidates in a gradual process that constitutes a slow-speed coup killing American democracy and putting ultimate control of the US government into the hands of the hyper-wealthy Zionists that fund the Israel Lobby.

If people like Gaubatz, his congressional supporters, his Zionist friends and his Zionist funders have their way, not only will the ongoing political prosecutions of Muslim American leaders expand to include practically all Muslims, but the hyper-wealthy Zionist plutocracy directed by the Zionist intelligentsia will also have veto power over anyone seeking to serve in the US government, and the American way of life will be dead.

German courtroom killer gets life

Thousands attended Marwa Sherbini's funeral in Egypt

A man has been sentenced to life in prison after being convicted of murdering a pregnant Egyptian woman in a German courtroom.
The Dresden state court also ruled that Alexander Wiens would not be eligible for early release.

Wiens, 28, admitted stabbing Marwa Sherbini to death at a court hearing involving them both in July.

The crime sparked outrage across the Muslim world. Egypt said justice had been served with the sentence.

Wiens, a Russian-born German citizen, had argued his action was not premeditated.

But prosecutors at the trial, which took place amid tight security, insisted he was motivated by a "hatred of non-Europeans and Muslims".

'Martyr of the hijab'

The case began with an argument in a playground in 2008.

Ms Sherbini, a pharmacist, is said to have asked Wiens to let her child use a playground swing he was sitting on. He refused and instead called her abusive names.

There were alerts on Egyptian state television as news of the verdict broke.

This trial has been extensively covered in the media and many Egyptian journalists travelled to Dresden.

Members of Marwa Sherbini's family and Egyptian lawyers - including a legal team provided by the Egyptian foreign ministry - were also in court.

The case shocked Egyptians and there was outrage at what was seen as the slow response of the German authorities to deal with claims of Islamophobia and to offer condolences.

In July, thousands turned out for the funeral of Ms Sherbini in Alexandria, her home city.

There were small protests afterwards outside the German embassy and in the Al-Azhar Mosque in Cairo.

Tensions remained during the trial - causing a Dresden orchestra to postpone planned performances in Egypt.
Egypt welcomes verdict

She later took the defendant to court and he was fined 780 euros ($1,170; £718) for defamation.

But when Wiens returned to the courtroom for an appeal hearing on 1 July this year, prosecutors say he smuggled in an 18cm (7in) kitchen knife and stabbed Ms Sherbini at least 16 times with it.

The 31-year-old, who was three months pregnant with her second child, bled to death in front of her husband and their three-year-old son.

Her husband was himself stabbed as he tried to protect his wife, and also accidentally shot in the leg by a security guard who initially believed him to be the attacker.

Wiens was also found guilty of attempted murder and causing bodily harm for this attack.

Egyptian Ambassador Ramzi Izz al-Din told reporters outside court that "justice has been honoured".

He said: "Getting the maximum possible sentence, I think that itself says a lot."

Egyptian foreign ministry spokesman Hossam Zaki said in a statement quoted by AFP news agency: "The verdict, the maximum punishment under German law, serves justice and is considered a warning to those motivated by hate."

Many Muslim leaders had accused Germany of Islamophobia following the killing.

They said the country, which has the second-biggest Muslim population in Western Europe, had been too slow to condemn it.

Ms Sherbini, who wore a headscarf, was dubbed "the martyr of the hijab".

Thousands attended her funeral in Egypt, some chanting "Death to Germany", and there were also mass protests in Iran.

On Wednesday, outside the courtroom, about 200 people staged a demonstration calling for the German government to do more to counter racism, particularly on the internet.

Coming from Perm with a name like Alexander Wiens, the killer has at least an 80% chance to be of Jewish extraction.

If newspapers really covered news stories seriously and they were allowed to report unflattering information about Jews, there would have been investigators all over Perm right after the murder in order to get the details of the environment that produced the monster.

On Faloja, no one believes there are direct ties between the attacker and al-Qaida. It was either an individual act of conscience brought on by Muslim suffering or someone who had been ideologically influenced by AQ.
Posters on Shumukh agree. If AQ were behind the attack, it would have been more spectacular. Other posters posit more individual attacks as American troops tire of the war.
Anwar al-Awlaki, the cleric with whom Hasan had some contact, is not well known on the Arabic forums. For example, this reference to him relies on U.S. reporting and his English-language sermons. However, he is a very big deal in the English-language jihadisphere. My Comments

1. I remain amazed that practically no commentator has asked whether Nidal Hasan might have self-medicated himself into a psychotic episode that caused him to go postal: Fort Hood and Self-Medication.

2. I ran into Tarek Mehanna at the State House on Muslim lobby day a few years ago. It simply does not seem like the sort of activity in which a blood-thirsty jihadist would engage. Our attempt to protest Benyamin Netanyahu in Washington DC yesterday was very productive. I was able to take a $70 flight from Boston to DC early, early Sunday morning. When I got to the hotel in which Netanyahu's speech was to take place (it was part of a larger assembly of pro-Israel organizations) I met up with the other activists who were participating. Three of them were high school kids from northern Virginia who are part of a progressive group at their high school. They were very enthusiastic about getting out there. We started "engaging" the people driving up to the event, many of whom gave us dirty looks. One of them told us to protest at the Saudi consulate, which is funny because I don't recall the Saudis ever occupying Palestinian lands or dropping white phosphorus bombs on Gaza (if anything, the entire Arab League supports the two-state settlement). Our one "counter protester" held a sign saying, "Obama Is A Muslim" or something to that extent. It really is funny though, how one would somehow think that is a valid response to "No War. Free Palestine". One of our members was able to get into the hotel. He said it was "full of zionists" and had extremely tight security. Then all hell broke loose. Two women and a few children from the Westboro Baptist Church (the "god hates fags" group that pickets everything) showed up with signs saying "Israel Is Doomed" and "Jews Killed Jesus". They're pretty much against anyone who isn't in their church. Luckily, they were on the other side of the street, and we seemed to deal with them fairly well. We decided, though, that these WBC people were too annoying and took our protest to the corner of the street. As people from the conference passed us by, Eric (the man who co-organized this with me) kept shouting, "Stop the genocide in Palestine! The Israeli war criminals will hang just like the Nazi war criminals hanged at Nuremberg!" That got us lots of attention. By the time we wrapped up, the WBC nutjobs were long gone and the conference in which Bibi was attending seemed like it was slowing down for the day. I left with two of the high school activists (Alan and Keith) who told me all about their school and how many elites send their children there. I was able to take another cheap flight back to Boston to get home at the very end of the day. Next time there's something going down in DC, I'll definitely come back.

I spoke on Radio Free Mississippi on Monday.

Jim Giles puts on interesting interviews (and has a great radio voice) and certainly is not a dumb Southerner despite his tendency toward self-deprecation.

On October 22 he interviewed Dr. Thomas Hegghammer, who is one of the foremost specialists in Arab Jihadism.

Unlike me, Jim believes that the Israel Lobby, which he equates with American Jews, has subverted the USA beyond recovery -- hence the hostility of the title that he has given the interview.

I do not consider 99.9% of Jews to be genocidal, but I do point out that American Jewish support for the Gaza Rampage ran at 80% levels while in Israel Jewish support for Zionist barbarism ran into the 90% levels.
