The article/blog entry below from the JTA reminds me of the arguments about Lenin's Jewish ancestry. Now that we can look at the records, we know that Lenin had an ethnic Ashkenazi great-grandfather named Moshko Blank. Has author Kampeas really told us much about Jared Loughner's ethnic background?

One has to be careful with this type of analysis.

The mother's association at my prep school spent a lot of time back in the 60s and 70s -- when Jews were considered riffraff with money -- in trying to determine whether students had Jewish blood in order to make sure none of the Jewish-tainted would be invited to country club affairs. The mothers were not always completely accurate. I was always on the list of students with spotless non-Jewish lineage.

Nevertheless, the Mothers Association did conclude correctly that Kensington in some cases is a Jewish name. I discussed the logic in Heartbreak Kid vs Legally Blonde.

"Vivienne Kensington would be recognized as Jewish in NY, NJ, CT prep schools because Vivienne is used by Jews and practically no one else. It substitutes for the Hebrew name Chaya. Kensington would be identified as the Jewish name Keningsburg (Koeningsburg) with -burg translated as -ton and the s moved forward to create a WASPish sounding name. The mothers association at my prep school in the 70s used to spend hours in name-analysis to determine which students came from Jewish families trying to pass as WASPs in order to make sure that the crypto-Jews were not invited to affairs at the WASPs-only country clubs. They invariably invited poor gentiles in order to make the crypto-Jews understand that wealth and social quality were completely independent. Of course, nowadays with Jews on top, the situation is totally different, and the non-Jews often affect Yiddishisms and some sort of Jewish connection in order to be part of the elite crowd."

While I suppose Totman/Todtman/Todtmann could be a non-Jewish name, all the Totmans I have met have been Jewish.

The name comes up in the consolidated index of Jewish surnames.

Bleifuss is a much more interesting case. When I see Bleifuss, I have to think Blèves, Loire, France because Dreyfus/Dreifus/Dreifuss is etymologically derived from Trèves, i.e., Trier, Germany.

The Loire used to be a major Jewish center, but by the 14th century all the Jews in Loire had been forced to convert or to leave. It is fairly easy to suspect that an emigrant to Germany might take Blèves as a last name that would eventually soundshift to Bleifuss.

Of course, there is no reason to believe that such an emigrant had to be Jewish, and I could not find the name Bleifuss/Bleifus/Bleyfus/Bleyfuss in the consolidated index of Jewish surnames, but I could not find Jewish surnames that occur in my family in that database although there were many very similar names. A quick search for names similar to Bleifuss produced a tremendous number.

Anyone that believes "Irish-born" at the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th century means "impossible to be Jewish" has not read James Joyce.

Anyone that believes practicing Catholicism means could not be of Jewish origin is simply ignorant of all the Jews that opportunistically converted to Catholicism in the 19th and 20th century and that continued to maintain all their ethnic associations as did Heinrich Heine.

Arizona has historically been an important center of transforming Jews into gentiles, and the most prominent example was Senator Barry Goldwater. When my mother was young, she used to patronize the Goldwasser Department store. The NJ branch of the family never changed the family name, and to tell the truth I am not sure whether there was any legal connection between the NJ Goldwasser Department stores and the Goldwater Department store in Phoenix.

I noted the other day that an acquaintance of Jared Lee Loughner, the accused gunman in Gabrielle Giffords shooting in Tucson, believed his mother was Jewish.

Bryce Tierney told Mother Jones that Loughner listed Mein Kampf as a favorite book in part to provoke his Jewish mother.

Nate Bloom, the noted Jewish roots columnist and researcher, has done the legwork -- and pretty much buries this notion.

I'll hand it over to him:

It is appalling how one comment---a friend of Jared Loughner telling a Mother Jones’ reporter that Jared Loughner’s mother is “Jewish”---goes viral in an instant.
In hours, "this fact" was all over on anti-Semitic sites. And, of course, there are the “commentators” who love to ‘blame the victim’ via some pop psychology theory that Jared acted out of “Jewish self-hatred.”
I figured that this was the moment to try and get “truth” dressed, and into the public arena a lot faster than usual. In other words, to use the tools of the internet to determine the veracity of what this friend told Mother Jones.
I cover Jews in popular culture for Jewish newspapers and I know how often famous people are mis-identified as Jewish or mis-identified as not Jewish. I also know that a lot of people are not outright lying about claiming someone is Jewish---they just get it wrong.
So, with my friend Michael, we ran down everything we could from public records on Jared Loughner’s mother’s family background. It took a lot of “search terms” and databases to find what we did.
Here’s what we found:
Jared Lee Loughner’s mother is Amy Totman Loughner;
Amy Loughner---Known Parentage from Public Records:
Her [Amy’s] parents were Lois May Totman and Laurence Edward Totman.
----Lois M. Totman died in 1999 and Laurence E. Totman died in 2005. Both were registered nurses. Laurence worked at a VA facility in Tucson. We both found this info via google news archives, social security death index.
From 1930 census records
Laurence E. Totman was born in Illinois in 1925.
His (Laurence’s) parents were Laurence A. Totman and his wife, Mary.
Laurence Totman pere (the elder) was born in Kansas to a Pennsylvania father and an Illinois mother. Mary was from Illinois, as were both of her parents.
A sister-in-law named Myrtle M. Brennan is listed as living with them also.
1920/1910 census records---Totman Family:
In 1920, Lawrence Totman, (Jared’s) great-grandfather, is living with his aunt, Rosa Clarke, who was born in illinois to two Irish-born parents.
Rosa is his mother's sister. On the 1910 census, his (Laurence, the elder) maternal grandparents are listed as Irish-born.
Father, Orvie Totman was born in Ohio to Ohio-born parents.
Amy Loughner’s Mother’s Line:
See obit, below, from Arlington (Illinois) Daily Record, June 24, 1999---Obituary of Helen Medernach of Virgil, Illinois. Helen was the sister of Lois M. Totman (the mother of Amy Totman Loughner). Helen was the great aunt of Jared Loughner.
As you can see, Helen’s funeral (mass) was held at a Catholic church. Helen (and Lois) were the children of Anton Bleifuss and Jessie Bleifuss (nee Anderson). Lois M. Totman died just days after her sister, Helen.
According to the census records, Anton Bleifuss was born in Bremen, Germany, to German parents. Jessie Anderson Bleifuss was born in Illinois to a father born in Denmark and a mother born in Illinois.
Conclusion---It is exceedingly unlikely that Amy Loughner has any Jewish ancestry. The only “line” not traced his Amy’s father’s mother’s family. The other three lines (Amy’s father’s father, Amy’s mother’s father, and Amy’s mother mother)---show, to all but the most obtuse, that these were/are not Jewish families. Moreover, it is quite clear that Amy’s mother, Lois Bleifuss Trotman, came from a Catholic family.

At OpEd News, Rob Kall interviews Rabbi Stephanie Aaron of Giffords' shul, Congregation Chaverim, she dispenses with any notion that the Loughner's were in any way associated with the community:

"We had a meeting of the Tucson Board of Rabbis. We all looked at our rosters from many years back. No one has ever heard of the family -- him, his parents, any of them. I can say with absolute certainty that we do not know him in pretty much the entire affiliated community."

I would add this: Bleifuss may be a Jewish name. (The noted investigative journalist, Joel Bleifuss, is Jewish.) Anton Bleifuss, Jared Lee Loughner's great-grandfather, might then have been Jewish -- but not so committed that he didn't defer to his wife when it came to raising the children as Roman Catholics.

As I noted in my earlier posting, Jared Loughner is not the most reliable of reporters, and Tierney's recollection was added as an aside. Mix into this the fact that Amy Loughner's brother is Anton Totman -- apparently named for his mother's father.

Loughner's family was in no way Jewish, nor was his mother -- but she might have mentioned her Jewish grandfather, beloved enough to live on in her brother's name, with pride or interest. Under those circumstances Loughner, who sought "chaos" according to Tierney, might have sought to provoke his mother and his uncle by pretending to admire (or actually admiring) Adolph Hitler. He might have told Tierney that his mother was Jewish as a shorthand, or might have seen her as Jewish -- like I said, not the most reliable reporter. Or he might have explained the lineage, and Tierney might understandably have conflated it as "mother Jewish."

It sets up a fascinating contrast: Gabrielle Giffords, who plunges into public service when she is 30, just the same age she delves into her father's Judaism and chooses to embrace it; and Jared Loughner, who learns of a distant Jewish connection deep in his family's past -- and reviles it as he retreats into madness.

Helen Medernach of Virgil

A funeral Mass for Helen Medernach, 77, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, at S.S. Peter & Paul Church. Fr. Aloysius Neumann will officiate.

Born Sept. 21, 1921, in Sycamore, the daughter of Anton and Jessie (nee Anderson) Bleifuss, she passed away peacefully Sunday, June 20, 1999, at Bethany Care Center in Sycamore, where she had made her home since May. Interment will be in S.S. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Virgil.

Helen grew up in Sycamore and graduated from Sycamore High School, class of 1939. She went on to take business courses which shortly landed her a job at Anaconda Wire Company in Sycamore. She went to California with her sister, Lois, and was employed in a business office for a few years before returning to work in Chicago. The last 20 years of her working career were spent in the business office at the Duplex Company in Sycamore.

She was united in marriage to William H. `Willie' Medernach on May 16, 1959.

They made their home in Sycamore for a short time before moving to Virgil where they lived across the street from the church for many years.

Survivors include her sisters, Virginia Stran of DeKalb, Irene Luty of Covina, Calif., Lois (Lawrence) Totman of Tucson, Ariz. and Dorothy (`Trig') Troeger of Sycamore; several nieces and nephews; and a family of dear friends. In addition, she leaves the quiet, simple legacy of one who cared. Her many thoughtful words of thanks, encouragement and friendship were patiently penned into countless cards that found their way into the hearts of many friends and neighbors through the years.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband in 1997; and brothers, Albert, Lyle, Leslie and Donald Bleifuss.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today, at Conley Funeral Home, 116 W. Pierce St., Elburn, and from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the Mass Friday, at the church.

Memorials in her name may be made to Masses in her memory.

Jared Loughner's goldbug delusion

Is it madness to call for a return to the gold standard? Or just an inability to accept the world as it is?

The attempt to derive any kind of real meaning from the ravings posted on YouTube and the Internet by Jared Lee Loughner, the mentally unstable gunman who shot Arizona Rep. Gabrielle Giffords on Saturday, is a risky business. His ramblings are so blatantly disconnected and obtuse that a conspiracy-minded theorist might be excused for immediately concluding that they are planted, designed to cover up hisreal agenda by making him look deluded on purpose. We're talking Hollywood blockbuster Mel Gibson over-emoting mint-plated crazy here.

In fact, in some corners of the Net, people are already running for cover, hoping to avoid collateral damage from Loughner's madness. Take, for instance, a comment that concluded one of his YouTube videos and immediately rocketed around the globe: "No! I won't pay debt with a currency that's not backed by gold and silver! No! I won't trust in God!"

If you were one of the vocal proponents of a return to the gold standard as the solution to all that plagues the modern global economy, you likely winced at the sight of those words. As one gold fan lamented at thewebsite Gold Information Center, "unfortunately his babblings about gold, silver and currencies are already being associated by extension to political and economic issues of concern to our community."

But if you believed that "goldbugs" are already crazy as loons, then you merely saw confirmation of your prejudices. Jared Loughner believes in government mind control ... shooting politicians, judges and little girls in cold blood ... and the gold standard. That's not the kind of public relations that opponents of fiat currency like to see.

Mainstream economists tend to pooh-pooh the notion of a return to the gold standard as a realistic option for contemporary governments. (A recent New York Times "Room for Debate" forum on the topic had five out of six discussants agree it was a terrible idea.) The standard view is that hanging on too long to the gold standard exacerbated the Great Depression -- the countries that went off the standard earliest were the least affected. Another commonly heard criticism is that the fact that inflation or deflation would be a consequence of how much gold was being dug out of the ground at any given time hardly seems a sensible way to run a 21st century economy. Still another critique is that countries that commit to a fixed exchange rate between their currency and gold bullion lose the ability to manage monetary policy in response to economic downturns. So when a recession hits, the people get screwed.

Of course, to many advocates of the gold standard, restricting government freedom is precisely the point. This is a major reason why a return to the standard has always been popular with a subset of libertarians and is a staple of Tea Party discourse. If all currency was backed by gold, there would be physical limits on the amount of outstanding debt governments could carry. Big government wouldn't be so big! We'd be forced to live within our means!

The fantasy that there is some gold-plated deus ex machina that could tame big government, all by itself, seems to misunderstand ongoing political reality. Even if the U.S. did return to the gold standard, it could and would just as easily go off it again, if the domestic economic situation degenerated enough to require direct action. If you go back and look at the late 19th century, which many gold standard fans seem to regard as a golden age, you see an era of recurring massive economic dislocations and fierce fights over the monetary system that make current rhetoric seem positively mild.

As William Jennings Bryan so famously orated at the Democratic National Convention in 1896:

If they dare to come out in the open field and defend the gold standard as a good thing, we shall fight them to the uttermost, having behind us the producing masses of the nation and the world. Having behind us the commercial interests and the laboring interests and all the toiling masses, we shall answer their demands for a gold standard by saying to them, you shall not press down upon the brow of labor this crown of thorns. You shall not crucify mankind upon a cross of gold.

There is no magic cure. Money, of whatever kind, by its very nature, requires faith. You can't eat gold or use it to keep the rain off or burn it for warmth. If you use it as a means of exchange, you have to trust that others will do so as well. Ultimately, the strength of the U.S. dollar depends on the world's trust in the idea that the U.S. will manage its economy wisely. That trust may well be misguided, but a constitutional amendment reinstating the gold standard wouldn't by definition make us any more responsible.

It's more than a mite destabilizing, perhaps even a bit crazy-making, to contemplate the global economy and ponder the fact that it functions in large part because we believe that it will continue to function. Maybe that explains the passion behind gold standard advocacy -- the idea that there could be a physical reality to money offers us a hard place to stand on in a world full of shifting sands. There's a reason why so much goldbug advocacy sounds a little nutty -- it's rooted in a fear of the world as it is today, a fear that seems to have overwhelmed Jared Loughner's mind.

But in truth, a world of floating exchange rates is a much better metaphor for how the world works than a gold standard. Because we are all making this up as it goes along.

President Obama Supports Manhattan Mosque

Last night, President Barack Obama held an iftar dinner at the White House where he delivered a truly amazing speech on the controversy surrounding the construction of a mosque near Ground Zero. In support of the mosque, he mentions the importance of freedom of religion for all Americans, and reiterates that those who carried out the attacks on 9/11 are in no way representing the true religion of Islam.

Recently, attention has been focused on the construction of mosques in certain communities – particularly in New York. Now, we must all recognize and respect the sensitivities surrounding the development of lower Manhattan. The 9/11 attacks were a deeply traumatic event for our country. The pain and suffering experienced by those who lost loved ones is unimaginable. So I understand the emotions that this issue engenders. Ground Zero is, indeed, hallowed ground.
But let me be clear: as a citizen, and as President, I believe that Muslims have the same right to practice their religion as anyone else in this country. That includes the right to build a place of worship and a community center on private property in lower Manhattan, in accordance with local laws and ordinances. This is America, and our commitment to religious freedom must be unshakeable. The principle that people of all faiths are welcome in this country, and will not be treated differently by their government, is essential to who we are. The writ of our Founders must endure.

We must never forget those who we lost so tragically on 9/11, and we must always honor those who have led our response to that attack – from the firefighters who charged up smoke-filled staircases, to our troops who are serving in Afghanistan today. And let us always remember who we are fighting against, and what we are fighting for. Our enemies respect no freedom of religion. Al Qaeda’s cause is not Islam – it is a gross distortion of Islam. These are not religious leaders – these are terrorists who murder innocent men, women and children. In fact, al Qaeda has killed more Muslims than people of any other religion – and that list of victims includes innocent Muslims who were killed on 9/11.

That is who we are fighting against. And the reason that we will win this fight is not simply the strength of our arms – it is the strength of our values. The democracy that we uphold. The freedoms that we cherish. The laws that we apply without regard to race or religion; wealth or status. Our capacity to show not merely tolerance, but respect to those who are different from us – a way of life that stands in stark contrast to the nihilism of those who attacked us on that September morning, and who continue to plot against us today.

A court sentenced a resident of East Jerusalem who lied to a young woman and told her that he was Jewish in order to have sexual relations with her to a year in a half of prison time. “Protect the public from such criminals.”

Sabar Kashour, a young man from East Jerusalem, was sentenced today (Monday) to 18 months in prison after having defrauded and thereby raped and committed indecent acts upon a Jewish young woman, who only yielded to him because she thought he was a Jew. Additionally, the judges – Deputy Presiding Justice Zvi Segal, Moshe Dror, and Yoram Noam required Kashour to pay the complainant financial compensation amounting to NIS 10,000.

The prosecution representative, Adv. Daniel Vittman, argued that Kashour had indeed carried out his plot without the use of force, but that he had dissipated her ability to object to his actions by means of the false representation about his personal situation – [claiming that he was] a Jewish bachelor interested in a significant romantic relationship. In this way he abused her desire for a deep emotional relationship, which was the only reason that she agreed to have sexual relations with him.

According to the indictment, to which Kashour (30) entered a guilty plea, he presented himself to a young woman whom he met in the center of Jerusalem in 2008 as a Jewish bachelor interested in a significant romantic relationship, despite the fact that he is married.

He invited her to accompany him to a building on Hillel Street. When they came to the top floor, Kashour undressed the young woman and had intercourse with her, with her consent, that had been fraudulently achieved, as stated above. After having carried out his scheme, he departed from the building and left her naked, on the top floor of that building.

“Not a ‘classic’ act of rape”

The prosecution first claimed that the complainant actively and significantly objected to the events, but in the course of the trial the young woman testified that she had agreed to the action because she had thought that the person in question was a Jew. In light of that the indictment was amended, and the defendant was accused of rape and indecent actions by way of fraud.

Kashour accepted partial responsibility for the crimes of rape and indecent actions, but claimed that the deeds were carried out with the full consent of the complainant. The Probation Service was of the impression that in the course of his detention the defendant underwent “a process of soul-searching,” and that he was investing effort in living a normative lifestyle. For this reason the Service recommended that a short term of imprisonment, to be served in community service, be deemed sufficient.

Defense Counsel Adv. Adnan Aladin asked that the positive report by the Probation Service be taken into account. He said that this report indicated his client’s “high potential for rehabilitation.”

He asked that “appropriate proportions be maintained” between the actions and the mete penalty, and stressed that Kashour had no criminal record, admitted to the actions ascribed to him and took responsibility for his actions. For this reason he asked that a sentence of six months of community service be deemed sufficient.

Justice Segal stated that there was no dispute about the fact that the defendant had committed the crime of rape upon the complainant. He had admitted to doing so, and this was why he had been convicted, by force of law. “Indeed,” he stressed, “we do not have before us a ‘class’ case of rape – by force – and the indictment initially filed, which had indicated significant objection by the complainant to the actions by the defendant, had been amended further in the proceedings, after hearing her testimony, when it became clear that the actions were indeed carried out with her consent, but that it had been fraudulently obtained, relying on false representation. Has she not been of the opinion that he was a Jewish bachelor interested in a significant

“Basic human obtuseness”

Segal added that the rehabilitation of the defendant did indeed seem accessible and possible, but “with all possible goodwill and intention to meet him part of the way and reduce his punishment inasmuch as possible, I do not believe that this is the case where a prison term can be served in the form of community service.” Moreover, in his opinion serving a prison term does not cancel out existing rehabilitation achievements nor negate possible future achievements.

The judge stated that “the Court must protect the public interest against sophisticated criminals with a smooth tongue and sweet talking, who can lead astray innocent victims at the unbearable price of the sanctity of their bodies and souls.”

Harvard Kennedy School lecturer Jessica Stern made a big splash recently

by going public with the story of a rape that she suffered as a teenager and
by linking terrorism to sexual violence.

I have listened to enough of Stern's lectures and spoken with her sufficiently to be fairly certain that she is a dope and a great example of yet another Jew in academia, who could not possibly have obtained her position without immense assistance from corrupt Jewish social networking.

As a racist Jew, Stern has consistently skewed her data tremendously by mostly ignoring the most important 19th, 20th, and 21st century example of terrorism: that of often disproportionately female Eastern European ethnic Ashkenazi terrorists in Eastern Europe, the Czarist Empire, the Soviet Union, and Palestine. Did John Brown have living slavers hacked to pieces in Bleeding Kansas because he suffered sexual trauma as a child? No biography of Brown has made such a suggestion. American slavers constitute the 19th century ethical equivalent of modern Jewish Zionists. The Gesamtkunstwerk

Zionist subversion is a Gesamtkunstwerk (synaesthetic effort). It permeates American society from the 2nd grade in the Boston public schools through the arts, academia, and the highest levels of government.

There is no magic bullet lawsuit that will wipe out the Zionist plague.

Muslim defense organizations must think of fighting Zionism as their own Gesamtkunstwerk that involves lots of little lawsuits, political mobilization, careful investment, and lots of PR. The composition will reach its climax when the first Zionist leaders are incarcerated, but there will still be a lot of work to get to the finale.

Any lesser goal means Muslims will probably lose because Zionists like Pipes are without doubt trying to put as many Muslims in jail as possible.

Ending the political show trials of Muslims is one battle in struggle against Zionism. It is a four track effort:

to change the general social political legal atmosphere,
to free those unjustly imprisoned,
to defend those unjustly accused, and
to stop FBI entrapment operations.

Changing the General Atmosphere

Muslim and Arab Americans need to increase public awareness of the web of control that Zionists are trying to exert.

Zionist organizations have targeted rising Muslim and Arab academics for denial of tenure and have tried to prevent any sort of rational education about Arabs and Islam at the secondary level.

If the numerous professionals, who like Joe Massad, Hatem Bazian, Nadia Abu el-Haj, Debbi Almontaser are under Jewish Zionist attack, are willing to band together in a legal proceeding against the conspiracy attempting to prevent them from working, they would probably have the best shot at pursuing a class action law suit to victory.

Because Zionist machinations are hardly confined to the non-governmental sector, Muslim defense organizations must look carefully at the role of Jewish Zionist conspiracy within the federal government.

Jewish Zionists and their lackeys at the IRS have long misused their offices to attempt to deny the granting of 501(c)(3) tax-deductible contribution status to organizations critical of Zionism. For example, the Council for the National Interest, which lobbies for a non-Zionist ME foreign policy, had tremendous difficulty in obtaining 501(c)(3) contribution status while the rabidly Islamophobic Investigative Project of Steven Emerson had no problems whatsoever.

Zionist machinations have enmeshed both Harvard and also Yale as well as probably many other universities in activities and programs like the Harvard Wexner-Israel Fellowship that are problematic under the tax code and other federal regulations.

If the same standards were applied to anti-Arab and anti-Muslim racism as were applied to anti-Black racism in Bob Jones versus USA to strip Bob Jones University of its tax-deductible contribution status, Harvard and probably Yale would have lost their tax-deductible contribution status over two decades ago, but Zionist US government officials and their lackeys can never find the wherewithal to enforce the law as zealously against Zionists as they would against anti-Zionists or non-Jews in general.

Not only is the IRS thoroughly penetrated, but the Security and Exchange Commission (SEC), the Treasury, the DOJ, the Federal Elections Commission (FEC), the Federal Communications Commissions (FCC), and associated US government agencies often make fare greater efforts to undertake the Zionist policies of organizations like the American Jewish Committee (AJC) than those of the US government. Treasury Undersecretary Stuart Levey is a particularly blatant example of a US government official, who acts like an AJC employee on loan to the federal government.

Muslim defense organizations must use the whole range of available legal, regulatory or political means to undermine the Zionist web of control.

The right of rabidly Islamophobic channels like Fox Boston to broadcast spectrum must be challenged. Just as Charles Jacobs and Jewish Zionist groups tried to prevent al-Jazeera's honest reports of the ME from being carried by the Newton cable provider, Muslim groups should run pressure campaigns to drive racist anti-Muslim content-providers like Fox off of every cable network whenever possible.

Muslim defense organizations must file a notice of claim (SF95) to indicate intent to take legal action against any government agency, whose improper or unequal application of US law and regulations is harming Muslim American citizens and residents. Such notice should be accompanied by the identification of US government officials, who like Stuart Levey have incurred Bevins liability through the misuse or perversion of office on behalf Zionism in order to harm Muslims. The Bevins precedent addresses the question of compensating persons, who have suffered torts via unjust deprivation of Constitutional rights.

Freeing those unjustly imprisoned

Because the implications of Bevins precedent belong to the cutting edge of US legal theory, a lawyer using arguments based on Bevins must be ready for close and difficult questioning from judges. Yet Bevins in combination with equal protection arguments (Yick Wo 1886) provides a means to attack the belief

that far too many judges and jurors have in the government's good faith and
that has been used so successfully in producing unjust convictions like those of Aref and Hossain in Albany.

While the Supreme Court in theory does not adjust its decisions with political vicissitudes, in practice it does.

With increasing public discussion of Jewish Zionist subversion of the US legal process, an opening may be created for Muslim political prisoners to win appeals against unjust conviction. This outcome would become more likely if Muslim Defense Organizations can link the release to US strategic foreign policy goals and better relations with the Islamic world.

Obviously no Muslim country should trust the US as long as the US wrongfully incarcerates decent patriotic Muslim American citizens.

Defending the unjustly accused

While challenging US government good faith is the key to successful defense in preemptive prosecution cases, some lawyers worry that aggressively throwing rocks at the US government during a trial can backfire on their client. The judge may get angry and increase the sentence in case of conviction. Some judges will retaliate against a defendant during the trial for an aggressive defense campaign against the government.

To win in such a situation, the defense must view themselves not merely as lawyers or as advocates but as the last line of defense for the American way of life. They must act as if they form a highly coordinated special forces unit. Every step of the trial must be carefully choreographed from the jury selection through closing arguments.

During the jury selection, the defense has to look for potential jurors that are less likely to obey an authority perceived as legitimate. In the Aref-Hossain case, Judge McAvoy told the jury that the government had good reason to be suspicious of Aref. He implicitly recommended that the jurors should convict. Such a statement in the mouth of the judge hardly differs from the request of a Milgram's authority figure to raise the electroshock stimulation to harmful or fatal levels.

The defense lawyer must use peremptory challenges to favor jury candidates,

who come out extremely low on the Milgram authoritarianism profile and
who would react to such judicial claims by wondering whether there is a good reason to be suspicious of the government.

Because terms like Islamonazi or Islamofascist pervade public discourse and because philo-Semitism highly correlates with Islamophobia, the defense lawyer must use peremptory challenge to exclue any prospective juror

that believes Muslim groups are prone to Nazion or
that considers it inflammatory to accuse a Jew of Nazism.

The defense must make every effort to exclude all Jews from the jury except for those that are extremely anti-Zionist.

As soon as possible after the trial starts, the defense team must attack the judicial inclination to defer to the federal government with regard either to issues of foreign policy or to claims of national security.

The argument may be more relevant to the closing of the trial, but Ii the defense lawyer manages to get this far, he should try to undermine any belief in the righteousness of the US government by emphasizing that if the president has to choose between Saban's or Adelson's political contributions and thousands of Muslim or of American lives, the president, whether Obama or Bush, will not hesitate to sacrifice American citizens of any religion (except perhaps Jews) along with non-citizen Muslims.

The defense team may find it strengthens defense arguments to to differentiate those law enforcement officials truly interested in protecting US security from Zionist lobby agents that have infiltrated the US government on every level and in every branch.

In some sense Muslims are fortunate that Zionist subversives overreached after 9/11 to manipulate Congress into enacting tough anti-terrorist legislation. After the Gaza Rampage and the Flotilla Massacre no one can rationally deny that Israel is a terrorist state and that American supporters of Zionism should be arrested, tried, convicted, and imprisoned for materially aiding Zionist terrorism.

Stopping FBI Entrapment Operations

Herein likes the key to stopping the entrapment operations and political show trials. Once American Jewish Zionist leaders realize that they are vulnerable to terrorism prosecutions, they will suddenly discover a new attachment to the US Constitution and use all their clout to stop terrorism show trials as antithetical to fundamental Constitutional principles.

If Muslim organizations can persuade foreign governments like Turkey to demand the prosecution of Zionist terrorism supporters in the USA, the non-Jewish non-Zionist segment of the US foreign policy establishment may use what little remains of its political clout to work to stop FBI stings and the Islamophobic show trials.

The Caveat

One attorney, who volunteered to aid the victims of Zionist-orchestrated show trials, has a major reservation about the about the above legal strategy.

“It is impossible to mount a defense that the prosecution was generated through improper influences without proof that this is so. As defense lawyers we may feel that improper influences are behind a prosecution but the judge will not allow speculation about it. It requires proof, and given the nature of the challenge it would be very very difficult, expensive and costly for an individual lawyer in an individual case to make any headway in obtain such proof for an individual case. What is really needed is some money and effort to be spent uncovering all of the hidden influences that are working on our prosecution system right now which could be used in all preemptive prosecution cases. Who has enough money and time right now to do it?”

Unless Muslim and American civil liberties defense organizations start working double time to raise money to defend the American constitutional system and to put as many Zionists in jail as possible, the American way of life will be lost as the USA becomes a slave state where non-Jews and non-Zionists languish under the whip of Zionist masters.

Reframing Post-9/11 Islamophobic Frame-Ups

Since 9/11 the US government has been avidly recreating Yale Professor Stanley Milgram's studies of authoritarianism. The renowned social psychologist demonstrated that an overwhelming majority of people in a properly contrived situation would commit atrocities, i.e, administer harmful or fatal electroshocks, under the command of an authority figure perceived as legitimate. Even though Milgram's research proved not to be useful in entrapment defense, it has strong relevance to the plethora of show trials that the FBI and the DOJ have produced to pleasure of Zionists and to the disgust of those concerned with civil liberties and with the rule of law.

In the past prosecutors neutralized Milgram's analysis by claiming there was a world of difference between Milgram's legitimate authority scenario and a sting in which a government agent poses as a would-be criminal in order to persuade criminally-minded individuals to take part in a conspiracy to break the law.

The prosecutors' argument is less effective when the government agent poses as respectable businessman or religious authority,

who is seeking aid from fellow Muslims for an operation to transfer weapons to Lashkar-i-Tayyiba to battle the Indian military, which oppresses Kashmiri Muslims or
who wants to mount an attack on a synagogue whose members are providing material support to the Zionist state, which routinely commits terrorist acts like the Gaza Rampage or the Flotilla Massacre.

While the application of Milgram's work is helpful to understanding the dynamics of Islamophobic sting operations, the Islamophobic courtroom drama much more faithfully reproduces the Milgram experiments, for the US government in the person of prosecutors, FBI agents, and other government officials posing as legitimate authorities persuade the judge and the jury to commit legal atrocities that destroy good and decent men and women as well as their families.

Such manipulation is particularly easy for three reasons:

American judges tend to defer to the government in matters of foreign policy,
Americans generally believe that the US government pursues a rational foreign policy in the best interests of the USA, and
far too many Americans believe that US is blameless in its dealings with Arab and Muslim states or people.

As a result, judges tend to accept US attorney assertions related to national security while Arab and Muslim defendants face a jury already with two strikes against them in the minds of the jurors.

Thus in Islamophobic show trials prosecutors and the US government are well-positioned to commit great wrongs and to undermine the constitutional legal system of the USA as happened in the earliest cases like that of Hemant Lakhani and as has consistently taken place in more recent trials like the Aref-Hossain case.

To win in such a situation, the defendants' legal team must view itself not merely as a group of collaborating lawyers or as advocates but as the last line of defense for the American way of life. The attorneys for the accused must act as if they belong to highly coordinated special forces unit. In the Aref-Hossain case these links may have been particularly important because Shamshad Ahmad, Ph.D., reported in his personal account of the proceedings (Rounded Up, Artificial Terrorists and Muslim Entrapment after 9/11) that the highest levels in the White House were following the trial.

Daniel Pipes, Steven Emerson, and Charles Jacobs are three prominent American Jewish Zionist Islamophobes. Jacobs and Pipes often work together while Jacobs hired Emerson and his Investigative Project organization to fabricate evidence against the Islamic Society of Boston when the David Project tried to halt construction of the Roxbury Mosque.

In an act of pure cynicism or perhaps as a sick joke, George W. Bush appointed Daniel Pipes as a director of the US National Institute of Peace. Jewish Zionists Stuart Levey, Jonathan Schanzer, and Matthew Levitt all worked at the upper levels of the Treasury Department in theory to stop terrorist cash flows but in reality to staunch the increasing political clout of wealthy Muslims and Muslim countries. Stuart Levey has continued in the same role under the Obama administration.

Jewish Zionist Evan Kohlmann, who seems to have become acquainted with Matthew Levitt while they worked on FBI terrorism projects, served as a prosecution expert witness during the Aref-Hossain trial and many other Islamophobic political prosecutions.

As Dr. Ahmad points out, Kohlmann spoke none of the languages in Bangla-Desh, Pakistan, or Iraq and was completely clueless with regard to the politics. He seems to have regurgitated a theory that Schanzer and Levitt had put together to justify the attack on Iraq. These two Jewish racists fantasized an impossible collaboration between the Islamic Movement for Kurdistan, Ansar al-Islam, al-Qaeda, and Saddam Hussain. Within the framework of this ridiculous idea, Jewish Neocons could argue that Aref-Hossain sting operation demonstrated the existence of a combined Saddam Hussein al-Qaeda threat within the borders of the continental USA.

When Judge McAvoy prevented Aref's and Hossain's attorneys from challenging Kohlmann's credentials, the defense should have aggressively concentrated on Kohlmann's agenda.

Now that the Department of Homeland Security, unlike the FBI, has ceased to collaborate with the ADL because of this Jewish organization's obvious ethnopolitical agenda, there is no reason for the defense to be diffident about discussing the ethnopolitical agenda of Jewish Zionist officials or expert witnesses like Kohlmann or Levitt (in the Holy Land Foundation trial).

After introducing the Jewish Zionist subtext of the Islamophobic show trials, the defense can address issues relating to the equal protection clause of the Fourteenth Amendment of the US Constitution and the 1886 Yick Wo precedent, in which the Supreme Court ruled that it was just as unconstitutional to enforce federal law in a discriminatory way as it was for a law to be discriminatory.

After the Gaza Rampage and the Flotilla Massacre, no one rational can doubt that Israel is a terrorist state and that Jewish Zionists provide material support for terrorism. Yet the Federal government has yet to arrest one Jewish Zionist on terrorism charges.

During summation, after having completely delegitimized the authority of the FBI and the Department of Justice because of deep penetration Jewish Zionist subversion, the defense should ask the jurors whether they will act as the stooges of a cabal that sacrifices American blood and treasure "because it is good for the Jews."

In conclusion the defense should demand that the jury find the accused innocent for the good of the USA.

If this strategy proves effective, it could enter mainstream politics as a demand that US laws be enforced uniformly for Jews and non-Jews. If it gets traction internationally, foreign governments like Pakistan pressured by the US government to suppress Islamist groups might be motivated to demand reciprocal crack-downs on American Jewish Zionist groups. At that point Zionists inside and outside of government will have lost any shred of legitimate authority in Milgram's sense. As a result grass roots national and international political activists might have a shot at convincing (non-Jewish non-Zionist) US foreign policy makers that the US will only be able to keep any moral standing on human rights issues if the president pardons all the Muslim political prisoners incarcerated after Islamophobic political show trials and then apologizes to the Islamic world for participating in Zionist crimes for the last 63 years.

Arresting, trying, convicting and incarcerating leading Zionists (like Haim Saban, Sheldon Adelson, Penny Pritzker, Lester Crown, the Bronfmans, Martin Peretz, Stuart Levey, Matthew Levitt, Charles Jacobs, et al.) for materially aiding Zionist terrorism, Conspiracy Against Rights, and Seditious Conspiracy would help restore American credibility.

Fighting Islamophobic Political Prosecutions

In the aftermath of 9/11 the US Department of Justice (DOJ) and especially the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) have had a policy of rooting out a phantasmagorical world-wide anti-USA Islamic terrorist conspiracy by arresting and by prosecuting Muslim American leaders on ridiculous charges. Concomitant sting operations against poor, ill-educated, or recent immigrant Muslims have effectively forestalled criticism of private and governmental action to demonize and marginalize American Muslims even when though the FBI has included among its actions the extra-judicial execution of Detroit Imam Luqman.^*

Developing tactics and strategies to fight such US governmental abuses of human rights requires honest documentation, understanding and discussion of the actions, origins, tactics, and strategy of the Islamophobic conspiracy that has moved from the Israel Lobby and the organized Jewish community to the highest levels of the US government.

The ridiculousness of the charges in federal Islamophobic show trials has been obvious from the start as This American Life demonstrated in its August 7, 2009 analysis of the very early Hemant Lakhani case prosecuted by US Attorney Chris Christie, who is now the governor of New Jersey.

The February 2007 conviction of Yassin Aref and Mohammed Hossain and subsequent denial of all appeals and legal motions shows that nothing has changed from the Lakhani trial to the present day.

In his forward to Rounded Up: Artificial Terrorists and Muslim Entrapment After 9/11 by Shamshad Ahmad, Ph. D., attorney Stephen Downs explains a lot of the logic behind the political prosecution of American Muslims:

Eventually I came to understand that Aref was targeted by the government because he was “suspicious” – he might present a danger in the post-9/11 atmosphere. In the Bush Administration, which insisted that the FBI and the Justice Department follow a new paradigm of preventing terrorist attacks before they occurred, any Muslim who was “suspicious” needed to be targeted and incarcerated. It was a sort of “preventive conviction,” in which the “suspicious” person would be convicted of a crime before he would have an opportunity to commit the crime. (The government justified this new paradigm by saying, in effect, “What would you have us do – sit on our hands until the next 9/11?” without explaining how, under American law, someone could legally be convicted without having committed a crime.) In Aref's case, the vehicle for the conviction was a sting operation ostensibly designed to entrap him in a fake terrorist plot run by the government – but in fact, so little information was given to Aref that it would have been impossible for him to understand that anything illegal was intended. It was a frame-up designed to eliminate a “suspicious” person while at the same time [it would] send a warning to the Muslim community – and a reassuring message to the rest of the country – that the government was hard at work [in] rooting out terrorists.

At a November 9^th 2006 Harvard talk shortly after the release of her book entitled Mecca and Main Street, Lebanese American reporter Genevieve Abdo provided critical background information related to Islamophobic prosecutions. She explained that American Muslims are like and unlike other immigrant groups to the USA. American Catholic immigrants often faced similar prejudices in the past, but American Muslims confront well-organized extremely wealthy or well-funded and politically powerful American Jewish Zionists willing to do practically anything to prevent the participation of Muslim citizens in American politics, academics, and business.

Jewish Zionist Islamophobe Daniel Pipes summarizes the underlying Jewish Zionist beliefs about Muslims in “A Slick Islamist Heads to Jail” (NY Sun, August 3, 2004):

Alamoudi is hardly the only high-profile, seemingly non-violent leader of an Islamist organization to associate with terrorists. At the Council on American-Islamic Relations, five staffers and board members have been accused or convicted of terrorism-related charges and the same has happened with leaders of the Islamic Center of Greater Cleveland, Holy Land Foundation, Benevolence International Foundation, and the National Coalition to Protect Political Freedom.

The Alamoudi story points to the urgent need that the FBI, White House, Congress, State Department, Pentagon, and Homeland Security – as well as other institutions, public and private, throughout the West – not continue guilelessly to assume that smooth-talking Islamists are free of criminal, extremist, or terrorist ties. Or, as I put it in late 2001: "Individual Islamists may appear law-abiding and reasonable, but they are part of a totalitarian movement, and as such, all must be considered potential killers."

Militant Islam is the enemy; even its slickest adherents need to be viewed as such.

Since the early 1980s at least Pipes has been elaborating a fantasy of world-wide Islamic conspiracy. On May 6, 2008, the Harvard Objectivist Club, which frequently engages in Muslim-baiting, hosted a panel discussion on Totalitarian Islam. Daniel Pipes was one of the two panelists and explained that

stealth Islamists voluntarily obey Islamic law (Sharia) and will attempt to introduce Islam into the societies where they live by discussion and by persuasion.

Perhaps they will try to convert non-Muslims to Islam, and then if they have sufficient numbers they may try to legislate Sharia or Islamic morality into the law code.

Despite Pipes's efforts at demonizing Islam, for all intents and purposes stealth Islamists are simply Muslims that sincerely try to practice their religion. They do not differ much from orthodox Jews that voluntarily obey Jewish law (Halakhah), and they seem a lot like sincere Christians. Just as far too many Jews have prejudices against believing Christians, Jewish Zionist Neocons have problems with believing Muslims and are making an effort to incorporate anti-Muslim prejudices structurally into American society in order to limit the democratic rights of Muslim citizens of the USA for the purpose of preventing any open discussion of US ME policy and the US-Israel alliance.

In Pipes's understanding of ME politics, the Iranians are the force of direct confrontation with the USA while the Saudis use the power of their wealth both to subvert the Islamic world and also to corrupt the USA by using American Muslims as a fifth column. For Pipes, the Saudis seem to be the more serious enemy because the male members of the Saudi royal family have created something like the Soviet nomenklatura (номенклату́ра) by marrying multiple wives and by fathering lots of children.

Pipes's depiction of an Islamic world dominated by the Saudi version of the Soviet ruling class is simultaneously laughable and reminiscent of The Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion. Pipes may be both projecting his experience within the Neocon or Jabotinskian Zionist intelligentsia onto Muslims and also making consciously or unconsciously a false equation of a ruling class with the mobilized or mobilizing intellectuals that comprise an intelligentsia.

In her July 23, 2009 Khaleej Times column entitled “Of Conspiracies and Plots,” Karin Friedemann briefly mentioned that Jewish Zionist Neocon officials of Bush administration had infected the US government bureaucracy with the Islamophobia endemic to the racist anti-Palestinian, anti-Arab, anti-Muslim culture of Jewish Zionists:

Although the presence of extremist Zionists like Rahm Emanuel or Dennis Ross near the president is disturbing, lower rank staffers like Treasury Department official Stuart Levey or pro-Israel propagandist Matthew Levitt [formerly deputy assistant secretary for intelligence and analysis at the U.S. Department of the Treasury (2005–07), previously FBI anti-terrorism consultant] are far more threatening to US democracy. While serving the government, Boston-bred Levitt constructed a vast terrorist conspiracy out of paranoid Zionist fantasies trying to explain the refusal of Muslims to acknowledge that it was just to establish a Jewish state in Palestine.

In Levitt’s delusions, to which other lesser ranking government officials like Daniel Pipes [formerly board member of the US Institute for Peace] and Rachel Ehrenfeld [formely a consultant for U.S. Defense Department's Threat Reduction Agency] contributed, Islamic finance and Islamic charity serve as a many-headed hydra of evil. Roots of the conspiracy involving Pipes, Levitt, and Levey lead back to the Boston area, where the Israel lobby is deeply embedded in the region’s educational institutions.

Levey, Levitt, and Pipes have closely worked with Jewish Neocon Zionist Islamophobics Jonathan Schanzer and Evan Kohlmann, who both purport to have the expertise to discourse authoritatively on Islamic movements.

At least as far back as April 2004 Schanzer served as an intelligence analyst for the Department of the Treasury while Evan Kohlmann with no qualifications whatsoever (Rounded Up, pp. 145-150) served as an expert witness on Islamic radicalism for the Aref-Hossein and several other anti-Muslim political prosecutions including the trial against Care International.

In order to depict Aref as a terrorist because he was once employed by the Islamic Movement for Kurdistan (IMK), which the US government does not consider to be a terrorist organization, Kohlmann testified to an all but impossible collaborative connection between the IMK, the militant Kurdish Ansar al-Islam organization, al-Qaeda, and Saddam Hussein.

Schanzer seems to have been the main proponent and possibly the original fabricator of this fiction of collaboration.^$

It is unlikely but hardly impossible that these Jewish Zionists Bush administration officials actively looked for an Iraqi Kurd resident in the USA for the FBI to target in order to prove the existence of a direct domestic threat to America from al-Qaeda and Saddam Hussein, but they were strategically placed to make opportunistic use of FBI Islamophobic hotdogging.

While Levey, Levitt, Pipes, Ehrenfeld, Schanzer, and Kohlmann have at times played key roles in Jewish Zionist subversion within the US government, the Jewish Zionist Islamophobic conspiracy is hardly confined to this tiny group.

In addition, Jewish Zionist subversion goes well beyond legal persecution of Muslims and Islam.

As Under Secretary for Terrorism and Financial Intelligence Levey is for all intents and purposes an American Jewish Committee employee lent to the US government to make sure that US foreign policy remains subordinate to Jewish Zionist goals (David Harris presents Public Service Award to Stuart Levey from the AJC website, AJC 2008 Annual Report Impact from the AJC website).

From the Zionist standpoint Levey has a particularly important strategic role to make sure (apparently with the assistance of Jewish Zionist Obama administration officials Lawrence Summers and Martin Feldstein) to make sure that wealthy Muslims and Muslim states remain impotent in the face of the power of Jewish wealth (Steven R. Weisman, Overseas Funds Resist Calls for a Code of Conduct - New York Times, February 9, 2008).

Other members of the Jewish Zionist cabal within the US government have tremendous impact nationally and world-wide – not only thanks to their own organizations that are well-funded by the international Jewish Zionist plutocracy but because as individuals they take part in highly effective Jewish Zionist social networks in order to collaborate with overt and covert extremist and racist Jewish Zionist organizations like The Investigative Project of Steven Emerson, The David Project, the Israel on Campus Coalition, the International Hillel Society, etc. (The list is practically endless.)

Extremist Zionist plutocrat and media mogul Haim Saban has explained why Jewish Zionist subversion is so effective in N. America and Europe (“The Influencer” by Connie Bruck, The New Yorker, June 27, 2010):

His greatest concern, he says, is to protect Israel, by strengthening the United States-Israel relationship. At a conference last fall in Israel, Saban described his formula. His “three ways to be influential in American politics,” he said, were: make donations to political parties, establish think tanks, and control media outlets. In 2002, he contributed seven million dollars toward the cost of a new building for the Democratic National Committee—one of the largest known donations ever made to an American political party. That year, he also founded the Saban Center for Middle East Policy at the Brookings Institution, in Washington, D.C. He considered buying The New Republic, but decided it wasn’t for him. He also tried to buy Time and Newsweek, but neither was available. He and his private-equity partners acquired Univision in 2007, and he has made repeated bids for the Los Angeles Times.

Such Jewish techniques of media and opinion manipulation often predate Zionism. We now know that the alleged anti-Semitic canard of conspiratorial Jewish media manipulation as expressed by German, French, and English anti-Semites in the late 19th century and early 20th century was simply true as the French Jewish Historian Simcha Epstein reported at Hebrew University on February 23, 2003 during the proceedings of the Sassoon Conference on Antisemitism & Prejudice in the Contemporary Media:

“The pre-war anti-Semites said that the Jews of France organized a syndicate secretly bankrolling and subverting the press. And what did the Jews say at that time? They said: ‘Of course not! No, it’s a lie, of course not! We are not engaged in conspiracies!’ And what did the historians and the Jewish historiography coming afterwards say? ‘Of course not! It is anti-Semitic drivel!’ But we know now from Jewish sources that before the WWII the Jews of France secretly financed the press.

“Since the end of 19th century, there was a secret Jewish organization, well financed, which bought and bankrolled newspapers. Sometimes it took over existing newspapers, which suddenly became pro-Dreyfus because they received Jewish subsidies. New papers were created especially by the Jews. Two very important papers of the period, one was called Les Droits de l'Homme, the Rights of Man, was financed by the Jews, and L’Humanité, which was the Socialist and then the Communist newspaper of France, was also financed by Jews. I say this on the authority Jewish sources of course.

“And this brings us to a dramatic dilemma of historiography. Saying this, saying what I said, is something horrible and unacceptable, because it means that the Jews organized a conspiracy and secretly bought the media, or part of the media. That was precisely what the anti-Semites said at that time, and what they still say today. And we know now from Jewish sources that the allegations were true, that there was a Jewish clandestine activity of bankrolling the press.”

In general the more honest historians study the issues, the more obvious it becomes that traditional anti-Semitic allegations against Jews had a lot of truth and that Jews have cheated in order to achieve dominance American politics, economics, finance and academia.^**

Not only have Jewish Zionist political economic intellectual oligarchs established themselves as the new American elite that has displaced upper-class White Anglo-Saxon Protestants (WASPS), but they have imposed a pervasive web of control that makes the realities of the Soviet and German Nazi systems as well as the fantasies of George Orwell in 1984 seem penny-ante by comparison.

Such perfidy requires response, and Muslims must form the avaunt-garde of the resistance because of the attack Jewish Zionist subversives have made on Islam, on Muslim leaders and on ordinary Muslims in the USA and throughout the world – often via funding local proxies like Geert Wilders.^***

In some sense Muslims are fortunate that Zionist subversives overreached after 9/11 to manipulate Congress into enacting tough anti-terrorism legislation, for after the the IDF Gaza Rampage and Flotilla Massacre no one can rationally deny that Israel is a terrorist state and that American supporters of Zionism materially aid Zionist terrorism.

American Muslims can use US anti-terrorism laws as key elements of a comprehensive strategy to eradicate the international Jewish Zionist conspiracy in the context of working for the liberation of Muslim political prisoners and of supporting Muslim defendants in the continuing sequence of show trials resulting from FBI entrapment tactics.

First Muslim organizations and individuals have to admit that everything they have done so far has been a failure.

It seems to make no difference whatsoever how stupid the indictment or the outrageous the behavior of the FBI is -- what has been done so far in the case of Imam Luqman?

Instead of arguing legal technicalities, these cases must become national and international political hot potatoes that the Obama administration will try to terminate by any means possible including pardons.

Muslims need to create a rapid reaction strategy.

When the FBI and the US Attorney move to arrest and to indict, Muslim defense organizations need to make as much noise as possible about yet another US violation of Muslim or Arab American civil and human rights.

The key words should be fairness, equal protection, and reciprocity.

Why do the FBI and the US attorneys only pursue alleged Muslim extremism and material support of terrorism when Jewish Zionist extremism and material support of terrorism are open and blatant?

Yick Wo v. Hopkins is as important today as it was in 1886 when the Supreme Court's decision established that it was just as unfair to enforce laws unequally as it was to write racial inequality into laws.

Muslims must protest against media outlets that refuse to cover the issue of unequal enforcement of anti-terrorism laws.

Muslim American leaders will have to start demanding that NPR and other news outlets provide objective and honest coverage of Jewish Zionist racism, extremism, and subversion.

Human Rights Watch (HRW) seems to be open to Muslim concerns in these matters. Kenneth Roth of HRW is willing to criticize Zionists and hates Harvard Professor/Zionist propagandist Alan Dershowitz. Are Muslim leaders talking with Roth about the most effective way to aid Muslim political prisoners in the USA?

Al-Jazeera, Al-Arabiya, and Iranian PressTV are willing to cover these stories. Are Muslim leaders trying to get international coverage via Press Releases, phone calls and emails?

Maria Balinska, who is international bureau chief at the BBC, answers her email. Are Muslim leaders approaching her? Obviously Guantanamo represents blatantly obvious misbehavior on the part of the US, but with effort it should be possible to drive the BBC and other sections of the British press to cover American Islamophobic show trials and political arrests.

Muslim Americans will have to start reaching out to Muslim countries that are being pressured by the USA to take action against alleged Islamic terrorist organizations. For example, Turkey should be encouraged by American Muslims to demand that the US arrest Jewish Zionists that have supported the IDF in its murder of US and Turkish citizens during the Gaza Flotilla Massacre.

Some important international Catholic figures like Cardinal Joachim Meisner could probably be encouraged to speak out on the topic, for he himself has been subjected to a Zionist trial by public slander (the entartete Kunst issue). He has also shown awareness that whenever Catholic leaders speak out on Palestine, Jewish gatekeepers in the media trot out the articles on priestly sex abuse that took place 10 years or more in the past.

There certainly sees to be a possibility of using national and international interfaith activities to bring up the issue of Islamophobic show trials and political prosecutions.

Muslim must start asking why Jews fail to take a stand against Jewish Zionist terrorism and have yet to demand the arrest of Jewish Zionist leaders like Sheldon Adelson and Irving Moskowitz, who blatantly send material aid to IDF terrorists.

US government officials talk about winning the hearts and minds of Muslims both nationally and internationally. If such government officials are serious, they should stop the political prosecutions of Muslims and start taking action against American Jewish Zionists that blatantly aid and abet Zionist terrorism.

Creating negative international reaction to US human rights abuse might seem like a round-about way to thwart political prosecutions, but civil rights became an important issue to US foreign policy makers when they realized that the Soviet Union was using Jim Crow to depict the USA as a racist hypocritical nation. Paul Nitze discussed the issue (obliquely) in NSC-68 which was the fundamental strategy document of fighting the cold war:

Compulsion is the negation of freedom, except when it is used to enforce the rights common to all. The resort to force, internally or externally, is therefore a last resort for a free society. The act is permissible only when one individual or groups of individuals within it threaten the basic rights of other individuals or when another society seeks to impose its will upon it. The free society cherishes and protects as fundamental the rights of the minority against the will of a majority, because these rights are the inalienable rights of each and every individual.

In addition Muslim activists must target key Zionist operatives.

As long as arch-Jewish Zionist subversive Stuart Levey holds his post in the Treasury despite prima facie violation of Federal Seditious Conspiracy law, which makes preventing enforcement of the US criminal code in time of war a crime almost equivalent to treason, legal persecution of Muslims will continue while Yassin Aref and many other good and decent Muslims rot in jail.

Not only must Muslims be willing to battle the Zionist politics, ideology, and mobilization, on which the Islamophobic prosecutions Americans have been based, but Muslim activists must have the ultimate goal of putting Jewish Zionist criminals into jail before any more Muslims are imprisoned for praciticing Islam or for refusing to grovel and to lick Jewish Zionist feet..

I am not sure how subversive the song is. Poetry of this sort has existed for more than a millennium in Arabic.

It may act as a sort of social release valve or it can be reinterpreted metaphorically to contain religious symbolism.

The tendency is not specific just to Arabic Islamic cultures. Just look at all the Christian and Jewish commentaries on the Song of Songs.

I personally think it is meant to be a philosophical look at the political turmoil and change which both Lebanon and Palestine (two places very dear to Fairuz, a Christian Arab herself) underwent. They’re apparently unaware that Noa voiced strong support for Operation Cast Lead, claimed Gazans sought Hamas’ overthrow, and expressed a devout wish that Israel would accomplish the task for them. She also called Hamas “Nazi-like” and ” a cancer,” accusing it of acts of rape and other heinous crimes which were baseless accusations. Here’s a taste of her ranting in case Jeremy Ben Ami didn’t do his due diligence before endorsing this woman’s performances:

I realize that Noa is a performer and not a political analyst. But if she wants to make public political statements she has a responsibility to speak the truth and use facts rather than lies and prejudice. The passages above reveal her to be woefully uninformed about issues on which she claims to have some expertise and certainly some passion. Given the venom in these statements, why would J Street want to support her?

J Street also doesn’t seem to realize that the Israeli government, through the Israel Broadcasting Authority, cooked up the idea of Noa and Israeli Palestinian performer Mira Awad entering the Eurovision song contest singing a banal There Must Be Another Way. They also sing a baleful version of the Lennon-McCarthy, We Can Work it Out, as if solving the Israel-Palestine conflict was as easy as repairing a lover’s quarrel. For this they were “rewarded” with 16th place in the competition–a lackluster showing helped by the fact that the audience clearly saw through the hasbara nature of the performance.

J Street appears to believe that Noa and Awad together represent the best of what Israel is capable. Under other circumstances I might agree. I quite like Noa’s music and I find Mira Awad a compelling performer and I’ve written this here before. But I do not see how an American Jewish peace group can lend support to this enterprise given Noa’s shameful behavior during the Gaza war and her co-optation by the government to do its bidding in the propaganda wars subsequently.

Udi Aloni wrote a powerful critique of Noa’s support for the Gaza war.

I want to make clear that when J Street stands up for the right thing, I’m there to support it and I have done so. But when it steps in dog-doo as it has here, it deserves criticism and will hear it from me.

The review of Antony Polonsky's The Jews in Poland and Russia: Volume I below suggests that Allan Nadler, who is Professor of Religious Studies and Director of the Jewish Studies Program at Drew University, shares my disdain for contemporary Jewish studies as practiced by incompetents and Zionist ideologues like Harvard Professor Ruth Wisse. (See Issues and Questions in the Historiography of Pre-State Zionism.)

Even though I have not yet read Polonsky's book, I have to comment on the following claim, which Nadler quotes in his article, for the negativity of ethnic Poles toward Jewish society seems to me to be overstated:

There was [in Poland] far less chance than in Galicia of using the educational system to create a large group of Polish-speaking Jews, and no chance of realizing the Positivists’ dream of creating a secular and scientifically based society through universal education…. And those on the Polish side who favored integration had both a strong sense of the inferiority of Jewish to Polish society and unrealistic expectations of how rapidly the Jews could be transformed….

Nevertheless, the assumption that Jewish integration could not have succeeded in the Kingdom of Poland and that its supporters were hopelessly naïve should be rejected. It is another of the implicit assumptions of the now discredited nationalist grand narrative of Jewish history and an example of what E.P. Thompson has described as the “boundless contempt” exhibited in the present for those whose aspirations in the past were not fulfilled. The history of the Jews in the Kingdom of Poland is a story of lost opportunities for which subsequent generations were to pay a high price.

Historic Poland contained many ethnic groups besides ethnic Poles and ethnic Ashkenazim or Polish Lithuanian Tatars.

[Note that it is a common false assumption that Polish Jews constituted a single ethnic group when in fact a Polish Jew could belong to the Yiddish-speaking ethnic group or to the Tatar ethnic group, which also included Muslims and Armenian Christians.]

One must ask whether those Polish nationalists that considered Jewish society inferior to Polish society singled out Yiddish society (or Jewish Tatar society) as uniquely inferior or whether such Polish nationalists treated all non-Polish ethnicities the same.

In any case, it is probably incorrect to read late 19th and early 20th century Polish nationalist texts through the lens of American, French, or even German integrationist nationalism.

A Polish nationalist like Kazimierz Kelles-Krauz may have been looking not for individual integration but rather for ethnic integration within a non-extremist organic nationalist conceptualization of the Polish state even if Kelles-Krauz as a Polish nobleman of German ancestry and his Polish Catholic wife Maria Goldsteynówna of Yiddish ancestry may themselves have represented more a melting pot type of blending.

The integration of ethnic Polish and ethnic Ashkenazi culture surely persisted even after ethnic Ashkenazim began departing historic Poland.

The Zionist ideologist Ber Borokhov almost certainly plagiarized practically all of his ideas from those of Kelles-Krauz while in the 1920s Henryk Sienkiewicz, the Nobel Prize winning Polish author of Tatar ancestry was the most popular novelist in the New Yishuv.

In fact, even though Harvard Jewish studies professor Ruth Wisse rather ignorantly and chauvinistically depicts the Jewish (Yiddish) Joke as specifically and uniquely Jewish, modern Yiddish/American Jewish humor has always struck me as owing a tremendous debt to the sardonic wit of the Polish Enlightenment as typified by Ignacy Krasicki.

A constant flow of narrow studies boldly claims to “revise,” “revisit,” “reimagine,” “reconstruct,” “deconstruct,” “transcend” and “transgress” the classic work of titan scholars, such as Heinrich Graetz, Israel Zinberg, Simon Dubnow, Ben-Zion Dinur, Salo Baron and Gershom Scholem.

This almost self-parodic state of affairs in the academy reminds us that in colloquial English, calling something “academic” is to dismiss it as irrelevant.

Faced with this linguistically impenetrable and mind-numbingly voluminous scholarly mess, reading Antony Polonsky’s masterful new tome, “The Jews in Poland and Russia,” is not merely an edifying pleasure: It is nothing short of a redemptive experience. In Polonsky’s erudite and eminently clear treatment, the rich forest of Eastern European Jewish civilization that has become obscured not only by trees, but also by debris of scholarly twigs, re-emerges in its full lushness.

Three of us protested against the "Holocaust Commemoration" last week at Faneuil Hall and the "Holocaust Memorial" outside Faneuil Hall. This "commemoration" is an anual event in Boston that is openly organized and sponsored by the "Israeli" government in conjunction with large well-funded Zionist pro-war Jewish groups (principally JCRC/CJP). This "commemoration" is a disingenuous event that does not really oppose injustice or genocide. The purpose of the "commemoration" is to support the Zionist state, the racist "USA" and imperialist wars.

This year the police did not allow us to stand between Faneuil Hall and Quincy Market as they did last year. We were forced to stand out on Congress Street. We had Palestine flags and pro-Palestine signs. We yelled. We talked with people. We handed out a lot of flyers. The flyer that we handed out is reproduced below in as close to the formatting as I can manage in a facebook note.

After the event in Faneuil Hall, the Zionist warmongers came out of Faneuil Hall to walk the short distance to their "memorial". They were led by a whole bunch of people carrying a giant American flag. The flag was at least 30 feet, maybe bigger. There were US soldiers in uniform present. We yelled at the Zionist warmongers. "Stop the holocaust in Palestine". I yelled that Zionist Jews were murderers perpetrating a holocaust against Palestinians on stolen land in Palestine. I had to also point out that Americans are murderers. Dave Cutler yelled about the "Israelis' " crimes in Gaza last year where they burned Palestinian children alive with white phosphorous and other heinous experimental weapons.

The Zionist warmongers stood outside at their monument and conducted an obscene blasphemous disingenuous "kaddish" or "prayer for the dead" ceremony in which they misused the Jewish religion to try to legitimize genocide against Palestinians, Lebanese, Iraqis, Afghans, Iranians, other Arabs and Muslims and other people of the world.

I followed the Zionist warmonger towards the "monument". But the police told me that I could not approach the "monument" or yell near there, that I was disturbing a public event. They forced me to cross the street to the median. When I crossed the street, the third protester Bob Bowes, a West Point graduate and member of Veterans for Peace, was already there on the median. The police immediately arrested Bob with no warning. "Israeli Consulate" security were present and were directing Boston police activity. Bob was charged with 'disturbing a public assembly' and 'disorderly conduct' for protesting on a public street as we are entitled to do even according to the "constitution" of this racist "USA" colony.

The fact that the Zionist regime has a cabinet department and minister of "disapora affairs" is open confirmation of the Zionist Entity's colonial nature. They have a government minister in charge of potential colonists all over the world. The Zionist Entity has no legitimate geographical territory. The Zionist Entity defines itself as a “Jewish State”, a “state for the Jews”. Its nationals, the “Jews”, are an ethno-religiously defined international privileged caste who mainly originate in Europe and who illegitimately colonize stolen land in Palestine. Yuli Edelstein, the minister of diaspora affairs, is a Russian-Ukrainian man who, in the 1980s, participated in Zionist-imperialist plots against the USSR (to overthrow the USSR's people's government, split apart the Soviet Union, and leave Eastern Europe ready to be conquered and plundered by international imperialist capitalists). The Soviet government correctly jailed Edelstein. When Edelstein was released he left the Soviet Union, moved to Palestine as a colonist, and eventually rose or was promoted to his current position in the Zionist regime.

65 years after the end of World War 2, Germany is still occupied by tens of thousands of U.S. troops. Just as Iraq and Afghanistan are occupied by the US, so is Germany. The occupation has just been going on for longer in Germany. The US “shock-and-awed” Germany with firebombings of cities and then invaded. The German government is a U.S./Zionist-controlled puppet regime. There is no free speech in Germany; people who disagree with the victors' official history of World War 2 are imprisoned. Despite previously overlooking the issue of Elena Kagan's complete lack of track record in Justice Stevens' retirement and Elena Kagan, yesterday Glenn Greenwald addressed this aspect of her unsuitability as a nominee for the Supreme Court in The case against Elena Kagan:

Kagan's lack of a record

One of the difficulties in assessing Kagan's judicial philosophy and view of the Constitution is that direct evidence is extremely sparse. That's not only because she's never been a judge, but also because (a) her academic career is surprisingly and disturbingly devoid of writings or speeches on most key legal and Constitutional controversies, and (b) she has spent the last year as Obama's Solicitor General, where (like any lawyer) she was obligated to defend the administration's policies regardless of whether she agreed with them. As Goldstein wrote at SCOTUSblog: "it seems entirely possible that Elena Kagan does not really have a fixed and uniform view of how to judge and to interpret the Constitution."

As I've previously documented and examine further below, the evidence that is available strongly suggests that a Kagan-for-Stevens substitution would move the Court to the Right in critical areas. But Kagan's lack of a real record on these vital questions, by itself, should cause progressives to oppose her nomination.

Unfortunately, Greenwald did not address how such a clearly unqualified candidate could be receiving serious consideration and in fact how Elena Kagan could ever have become the dean of the Harvard Law School.

The question has an interesting connection to the Paolo Munzi case described as follows by the JTA:

In February 2008, Munzi posted a list of 162 people, most of them university professors, and described them in negative terms as members of a Jewish lobby supporting Israel. Because Munzi's blog has been shut down, finding out exactly what Munzi wrote is difficult, but Italy shuts down blog exposing Italy's Jewish academic mafia provides some interesting information:

Having lived and worked in education in Italy for many years, I can confirm as far as I could see, listings of academic staff for Italian universities, particularly those for senior posts, read like an attendance list at the local synagogue. I have lost count of the number of times I have overheard junior academic staff at Rome's universities comment that their chances of making professor let alone chairing a faculty are almost nil if they were "unlucky enough" not to be born into the self-styled "most picked on group of people in the world".
While I don't agree that naming names is the first line of attack against the problem of rampant cronyism and the rule of a tribal academic mafia, perhaps it has reached the stage that nothing else will suffice.

I have heard the same stories both in US academia and in the US finance industry where Jewish social networks enforce Zionist orthodoxy and promote their own. The same situation almost certainly exists in the legal profession and throughout the US government.

Glenn Greenwald expresses strong reservations about a possible Elena Kagan nomination to the Supreme Court in Justice Stevens' retirement and Elena Kagan.

Greenwald writes:

... the desire to have on the Court someone who has demonstrated fealty to Obama's broad claims of executive authority is likely to be great.

As but one example, see here as National Review's Ed Whelan, a former official in the Bush/Cheney OLC and a far-right legal ideologue, lavishly praises Kagan's record on "national-security and executive power" issues while discussing her possible nomination to the Court. Such admiration for Kagan's record among the Right is far from unusual; as the NYT's Eric Lichtblau put it last year:

When Elena Kagan went before the Senate Judiciary Committee in February as President Obama’s nominee for solicitor general, Republicans were almost as effusive as the Democrats in their praise for her.
There was no daylight between Ms. Kagan, who was the dean of Harvard Law School, and Senator Lindsey Graham, Republican of South Carolina, as he led her through a six-minute colloquy about the president’s broad authority to detain enemy combatants. . . . Indeed, there was so much adulation in the air from Republicans that one Democrat, Senator Amy Klobuchar of Minnesota, joked at the hearing that she understood how Ms. Kagan "managed to get a standing ovation" from the Federalist Society, a conservative legal group.
Does that sound like an appropriate choice to replace Justice Stevens?

Unfortunately Greenwald fails to note that Kagan's record on "national-security and executive power" is intimately connected with her membership in the racist Zionist Newton Jew consensus to imprison or to kill as much of the American and non-American Arab and Muslim leadership as possible in order to make the world safe for Israel, Zionism, and expanding corrupt Jewish Zionist social networks. Kagan demonstrated her membership in the consensus by unflagging defense of Alan Dershowitz, who should have been fired from Harvard long ago, and by her promotion of Martha Minow, who has time and again proven to be nothing but a legal-theoretical propagandist for Zionist criminality.

Even worse Greenwald adds:

There won't be any questions about Kagan's qualifications, expertise or intellect -- she's exceptionally smart and knowledgeable...

Acquaintances that knew Imam Luqman tell me that their interactions with him and his community were always quite positive.

The Imam was a friendly very decent man.

Even if Luqman's community wanted to live separately according to Sharia. So what? The Amish live separately as do Hassidim in Brooklyn and Spring Valley.

I went through the complaint justifying FBI targeting of Luqman and his group. It reads like a combination of entrapment with the plot from a 1970s blaxploitation film dealing with Black Power revolutionaries.

The circumstances are rather different, but I can't help remembering the police killing of Amadou Diallo whenever I learn more details about the Luqman case.

Even if the charges are true -- something I doubt for numerous reasons, where were the Detroit and Michigan police during the operation? Was the ADL involved in fingering the Iman. The Department of Homeland security no longer pays attention to that Jewish hate group.

Not only is the justification for the involvement of the FBI on the basis of the AO-91 complaint questionable to say the least, but sending probably mostly white armed federal agents without uniforms into Luqman's neighborhood without support from knowledgeable and trusted local police is practically guaranteed to produce unnecessary violence.

Get all the facts out on imam's death

Graphic autopsy photos of the lacerated and bullet-ridden body of Imam Luqman Ameen Abdullah were released Wednesday, stoking more suspicions -- warranted or not -- about how the Detroit Muslim leader died.

At the same time, recent media reports have also detailed a 1980 incident in which Abdullah tried to take a Livonia police officer's gun, telling him, "It'll either be you or me."

To be sure, the two bits of information don't have equal relevance to the questions that remain about Abdullah's death. But either piece of information, without the full story about how and why Abdullah was shot to death by FBI agents last fall, contributes to an air of distrust and speculation that won't serve this community well.

Which puts increased pressure on Dearborn Police Chief Ronald Haddad to wrap up his department's investigation, and let all the facts speak for themselves.

Efforts to manage community sentiments by withholding information always fail -- and often backfire. With many lingering questions about how Abdullah died, Abdullah has become a national and even international figure -- and, in some circles, a martyr. Meanwhile, law enforcement agencies have lost credibility with many of the Muslim-American groups they are trying to build relationships with in the post-9/11 era.

"This isn't going to go away until there are answers," said Dawud Walid, executive director of the Council on American-Islamic Relations -- Michigan, which has also requested that the FBI turn over any video surveillance of the shooting. (An FBI spokesperson would not confirm or deny whether the agency had such evidence.)

Federal authorities have said Abdullah led a radical Sunni Islam group and had encouraged his members to commit violence against government officials. FBI agents said they shot Abdullah during an Oct. 28 raid after he shot an FBI dog.

News stories on Wednesday also reported that Abdullah served 26 days in jail in 1981, after assaulting a Livonia police officer who'd confronted him during a traffic stop.

The NAACP has joined a group called Muslim Advocates in asking U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder to review the shooting and events leading up to it, including the use of informants at Abdullah's mosque. That remains a good idea.

But transparency is needed, one way or another, to restore public confidence.

Dearborn's prolonged investigation only fuels skepticism and erodes the credibility of law enforcement. In late December and again in February and March, Haddad, who was away Wednesday and unavailable for comment, stated the investigation should finish in a few weeks.

Earlier, Haddad had persuaded Wayne County to delay the release of Abdullah's autopsy report, which detailed 21 gunshot wounds, a broken jaw and teeth.

By now, it should be clear to the chief that the best way to dispel excessive suspicion and skepticism is to deliver the results of the investigation he said he would finish months ago.

DHS Doesn't Work With ADL

I attended the March 25 Islamic Society of Boston Community Center (ISBCC) panel discussion on Fusion Centers.

I was glad to learn from David Gersten (Department of Homeland Security Director for Civil Rights and Civil Liberties Program) that DHS unlike the FBI does not work with the ADL anymore because the ADL's Zionist agenda taints all information and assistance that this Jewish hate group might supply.

I hope that the American Jewish Committee (AJCom) and the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) will receive similar treatment in the future. These two organizations are distributing a book that attempts to equate Arab with anti-Semite. I have put an image of the book's cover before the announcement at the end of this article.

While understanding the agendas of Jewish hate-mongering organizations is important if DHS is to carry out its mission, undoing the appearance of American bias against Muslims and of US favoritism toward Jews is probably more important to keeping America safe because nothing is more likely to stoke the hatred that instigates attacks on the US than failure to act as a Rechtstaat by applying national and international law fairly, predictably, and without corruption.

Because contemporary politics makes justice impossible on Israel-Palestine-related issues, I don't have much hope that FBI agents are going to arrest the Friends of the Israeli Defense Forces or Irving Moskowitz any time soon for aiding and abetting terrorism.

Nevertheless, the Israeli government's official terrorist policy should be obvious to anyone, who like Justice Richard Goldstone has spent a few months with Palestinians in the occupied territories. Yet the DHS Office for Civil Rights & Civil Liberties could do a lot to decrease internal and external anger at the US government without crossing political redlines by helping Arab and Muslim political prisoners that have been subjected to outrageous travesties of justice.

It is hard to identify the worst victim, but I put Yassin Aref among the top contenders. He is currently seeking a Stevens review of his case, but because of Zionist subversion throughout the US legal system, I do not have much hope that he will have success.

This book is an extremely painful and frustrating journey through the perversion of US law enforcement which smears the innocent as terrorists in an ongoing effort to marginalize Muslim Americans under the cover of ferreting out stealth terrorists, who are American citizens and residents.

Pope's preacher likens accusations to anti-Semitism

The Vatican tries to distance itself from the controversial comparison that has sparked a new wave of criticism

At a solemn Good Friday service, Pope Benedict XVI's personal preacher said allegations that the pontiff covered up sex abuse cases by Catholic clergymen reminded him of the "more shameful aspects of anti-Semitism."

Within hours, a Vatican spokesman sought to distance the pope from his preacher's remarks after both Jews and a leading abuse victims group reacted sharply, criticizing the comparison with violence that culminated in the Holocaust to the accusations made against Benedict.

The Vatican has been on the defensive in recent days, saying the church has been singled out and collectively stereotyped for the problem of pedophilia, which it says is a society-wide issue.

Good Friday is a particularly delicate day in a decades-long effort by Jews and Catholics to overcome a legacy of mistrust. Particularly harmful to the relations was the long-held Catholic belief that Jews were collectively responsible for executing Christ. A landmark achievement of the Second Vatican Council of the 1960s was a declaration stating the Jews should not be blamed for the crucifixion.

As the pope listened in a hushed St. Peter's Basilica, the Rev. Raniero Cantalamessa likened accusations against the pontiff and the Catholic church in sex abuse scandals in Europe, the U.S. and elsewhere to "collective violence" suffered by the Jews.

Benedict, 82, looked weary as he sat near the central altar at the early evening prayer service before a candlelit Way of the Cross procession near the Colosseum that commemorates Christ's suffering and death.

Cantalamessa, in his reflections for the pope on the Catholic church's most solemn day, said he was inspired by a letter from an unidentified Jewish friend who was upset by the "attacks" against Benedict.

Jews "know from experience what it means to be victims of collective violence and also because of this they are quick to recognize the recurring symptoms," said Cantalamessa, a Franciscan priest.

Quoting from the letter, Cantalamessa said his Jewish friend was following "with indignation the violent and concentric attacks against the church, the pope and all the faithful of the whole world."

"The use of stereotypes, the passing from personal responsibility and guilt to a collective guilt remind me of the more shameful aspects of anti-Semitism," he said, quoting from the letter.

The Rev. Federico Lombardi, a Vatican spokesman, later contacted The Associated Press and said Cantalamessa wasn't speaking as a Vatican official. He said Cantalamessa's homily did not represent an official church position, saying such parallelism can lead to misunderstandings.

Benedict didn't speak after the homily but chanted prayers in a tired voice. He leaned up to remove a red cloth covering a tall crucifix, which was passed to him by an aide. He took off his shoes, knelt and prayed before the cross.

Victims say Benedict -- both as a former archbishop of Munich and later as a Vatican cardinal directing the Holy See's policy on handling abuse cases -- was part of a culture of cover-up and confidentiality basically devised to protect church hierarchy.

Cantalamessa's likening the accusations to the Holocaust rankled U.S. Jewish leaders.

"Shame on Father Cantalamessa," said Elan Steinberg, vice president of the American Gathering of Holocaust Survivors and their Descendants, in a statement. "The Vatican is entitled to defend itself, but the comparison with anti-Semitic persecution is offensive and unsustainable. We are sorely disappointed."

Rabbi Gary Greenebaum, who said he recently had "cordial" talks at the Vatican with church and other Jewish leaders as part of efforts on both sides to improve Catholic-Jewish relations, sounded dismayed.

"It's an unfortunate use of language to make this comparison, since the collective violence against the Jews
resulted in the death of 6 million, while the collective violence spoken of here has not led to murder and destruction, but perhaps character assault," said Greenebaum, U.S. director of interreligious relations for the American Jewish Committee.

German Jewish leader Stephan Kramer described Cantalamessa's remarks as unheard-of "insolence."

"It is repulsive, obscene and most of all offensive toward all abuse victims as well as to all the victims of the Holocaust," said Kramer, general secretary of Germany's Central Council of Jews, in an interview with the AP in Berlin.

Painful memories of the strained relations between the two religions were raised earlier in Benedict's papacy, when he favored a revival of the pre-Vatican Council version of the Tridentine Mass, which includes a prayer for the conversion of Jews.

Cantalamessa in his sermon said there was no need to dwell on the scandals. He referred to the sexual abuse of children by clergy, saying "unfortunately, not a few elements of the clergy are stained" by the violence. Still, he said, "there is sufficient talk outside of here."

A vocal U.S.-based victims lobby, SNAP, reacted scathingly to the sermon.

"It's heartbreaking to see yet another smart, high-ranking Vatican official making such callous remarks that insult both abuse victims and Jewish people," said David Clohessy of Survivors Network of those Abused by Priests. "It's morally wrong to equate actual physical violence and hatred against a large group of innocent people with mere public scrutiny of a small group of complicit officials."

"The Catholic hierarchy has engaged in and still engages in widely documented, self-serving and ongoing cover-ups of devastating clergy sex crimes. That's why church records are being disclosed, predator priests are being exposed and Catholic officials feel besieged."

While Cantalamessa delivered his ringing defense of the pontiff, the church in Benedict's native Germany made the unusually frank admission that it failed to help victims of clerical abuse because it wanted to protect its reputation.

Archbishop Robert Zollitsch, head of the German bishops' conference, said clerics neglected helping victims because of a "wrongly intended desire to protect the church's reputation."

Five days after racist NPR Jewish interviewer Terry Gross hosted racist SPLC director Michael Potok, almost certainly Jewish facilitators at NPR made possible yet another segment with Potok on NPR.

As a nice touch, one of the disproportionately few non-Jewish NPR journalists, Michele Norris, was the interviewer.

Like many African-Americans, who has moved ahead in a profession with Jewish over-representation, Norris appears aware who butters her bread.

Walt Misunderstands Jewish Dual Loyalty

Harvard Professor Stephen Walt discusses "dual loyalty" and Jewish Zionists in It's not "dual loyalty," just a "conflict of interest".

Unfortunately he continues to cite Gabriel Sheffer's book Diaspora Politics.

This text is highly misleading and full of Zionist propaganda.

The ancient Judaic (and Hellenistic) Diasporas are irrelevant to understanding contemporary Jewish or (more precisely) ethnic Ashkenazi transnational politics.

Ethnic Ashkenazim are an indigenous population native to the territory of historical Poland. They have only mythological connection to Palestine.

Like ethnic Poles, Yiddish-speaking Jews became a transnational population with the divisions of Poland.

There was no ethnic Ashkenazi Diaspora of significance until the 1880s when ethnic Ashkenazim began emigrating to the West almost solely for economic reasons (despite common erroneous beliefs about anti-Semitism and pogroms, which are discussed rationally in Esau's Tears and which belong to Jewish anti-Gentile discourse).

During the nineteenth century Jews developed their own non-territorial national identity around the remnants of pre-modern Jewish trade networks and (corrupt or criminal) business practices, which were gradually becoming more and more unacceptable in modern economies.

Because the Jewish intelligentsia and plutocracy give much clearer political directives than God, Zionists serving the interests of the transnational Jewish people (as Dennis Ross does) differs significantly from the obligation of genuine believers to serve God.

Stephen Walt's attempt to equate Jewish Zionist dual loyalty to a mere conflict of interest misses a fundamental point. When a judge owns stock in a company involved in a lawsuit that he is adjudicating, he has a conflict between the law and his own personal interest, but a Jewish Zionist in a position of power in the US government must by the logic of Zionism subordinate the national interest of the USA in addition to his own personal interest to the collective transcendental interest of the Jewish nation. It is not a conflict of interest but the normal behavior of deep penetration and sleeper agents.

Jewish Zionists should never hold decision making power or positions of responsibility in the US government. Those like Dennis Ross, who already are in government service, must be purged as subversives.

Jewish Hate Groups: NPR, SPLC

National Public Radio and its Boston affiliate WBUR are disproportionately Jewish organizations. A few years ago WBUR even tried to make its Jewishness a selling point during a fund-raiser, but quickly dropped that aspect of the campaign when the staff realized that it was creating animosity.

It’s been almost two weeks since I wrote to National Public Radio’s senior Washington editor, Ron Elving, and to the network’s ombudsman, Alicia Shepard, to ask why Elving used an Israeli formulation – "disputed" area – to characterize East Jerusalem, instead of calling it "occupied," the term used by the U.S. government, the United Nations, the International Court of Justice, and virtually every other international body. So far, neither has replied.

While I wait, I’ve spent some time looking a little more deeply into NPR’s coverage of East Jerusalem since Israel’s announcement of plans to build 1,600 new housing units there put the area in the spotlight. The network posts transcripts of all its stories, interviews, and talk shows on the Middle East (and nowadays most other stories, too) on its website, and it has a pretty good search engine, so it wasn’t hard to review all 22 broadcasts that have discussed East Jerusalem since the controversy exploded. (NPR doesn’t transcribe its hourly headlines, so they’re not included. Neither are the Associated Press reports and Foreign Policy articles it posts on its website but doesn’t read over the air.)

Here’s some of what I found anyone depending on NPR for information about the issue would have gathered about East Jerusalem:

1. It’s part of Israel’s capital. Regular listeners have heard Jerusalem described that way in at least eight stories. In five of those cases the city was called Israel’s "undivided capital;" once the phrase was "unified capital." When NPR’s reporters say it (as opposed to when they’re quoting Netanyahu or Michael Oren, for example), they scrupulously precede these phrases with something like "the Israelis have proclaimed" or "Israel considers" the whole city their capital.

But since NPR reporters hardly ever even hint that anyone except the Palestinians disputes this claim, these are essentially throw-away words. (The closest they come to questioning the Israel position is the statement, which I found in two stories, that "The international community believes that the final status of the city should only be determined through negotiations.")

Ali Abunimah has also discussed Jewish bias at NPR (and the NYT) on Mondoweiss.

A few days ago Jewish interviewer Terry Gross continued NPR's disproportionately Jewish news coverage by interviewing the Southern Poverty Law Center's Jewish information and publications director Mark Potok in When Right-Wing Extremism Moves Mainstream.

The Southern Poverty Law Center is like the ADL a Jewish hate group that cloaks itself with civil rights advocacy. Officials from these two organizations should only be hosted on news programs with a strong caveat about racist Jewish agendas.

The SPLC endorses an American Jewish Committee distributed book entitled Antisemitism Today, whose cover rather unsubtly informs potential readers that the face of modern anti-Semitism is Arab.

Karin Friedemann had an illuminating exchange with Potok after she discussed Fusion centers in a Khaleej Times op-ed:

The WSJ also cites the SPLC in Nine Charged in Militia Plot:

Heidi Beirich, director of research for the Southern Poverty Law Center, Montgomery, Ala., said Hutaree [a Christian militia accused of plotting a violent anti-government offensive] has a MySpace page listing more than 300 "friends," some of which are members of other militia groups.

The association of the SPLC with this story is curious because another WSJ article entitled Militia Chief's Mistrust Festered, Friends Say refers to an undercover FBI agent within the Hutaree militia group just as FBI documents recently disclosed about the Oklahoma City bombing mention undercover surveillance in which the SPLC was involved.

In his NPR interview Potok associates the tea party movement with a resurgence of the extreme right because of Obama's race and because of passage of a national health care program. The NPR report on the whole argued that "extremism" is going mainstream among Republicans.

A resurgence is at least in part a matter of media definition, and over the past 15 years or so left-wing anti-Globalist demonstrations have often had violent incidents without similar claims that "extremism" is going mainstream among progressives.

In any case, one gets the impression that the SPLC has an interest in an increasing anger among disaffected groups and might even manipulate the FBI into making group members feel persecuted. Then if violence breaks out, the SPLC works with disproportionately Jewish media gatekeepers to put out a call for a lot more contributions to deal with such violent outbreaks.

Yet this sort of fund-raising is probably only part of the story.

The Obama administration has been dealing with three potential major economic pitfalls:

the financial meltdown,
the alliance with Israel (total cost $6-8 trillion and growing, $60-100 billion yearly subsidy), and
the national health care program.

The ultimate cost of the third is probably the least with more benefits for ordinary Americans.

Why has the tea party movement focused so much on "Obamacare"? Without a doubt the health care debate has distracted from the first two economic sink holes that have been disproportionately benefiting Jewish Zionists, but could there be more to the story like covert manipulation of tea party activists and groups?

Jewish Zionist networks of trust on Wall Street contribute a tremendous amount of money to the Israel lobby, which also benefits considerably from medical industry price-gouging. American media have completely failed to cover the Zionist aspect of opposition to a national health care program.

Health Care and the Israel Lobby

[Although Glenn Greenwald does not make the point directly, his article, The Right-Wing Need for Victimization and Israel, suggests another reason that the Zionism-susceptible segment of the extreme right focuses on health care and neither on corrupt Jewish Zionist social networks in the finance industry nor on the cost to the USA of the alliance with Israel.

As the right-wing becomes crazier and and more vicious, it needs even more to be able to fling accusations of anti-Semitism at its opponents to prove its own virtue to itself.

In addition, if tea party leaders criticized Jewish Zionist behavior that is the primary threat to the US economy, not only would the organized Jewish community target them with accusations of antisemitism, but powerful media Jews would starve them of any positive media coverage whatsoever.]
