Self-Interest Modifies Decisions or Judgments

 

I used a translation of a cynical Yiddish proverb for the title of the blog entry on the Agriprocessors story.

 

In Jewish law there are many reasons why a Rabbi might declare meat from a slaughtered cow non-kosher, but in the case of his own cow and his own economic self-interest, he might judge the entrails differently.

 

Arabic has a similar proverb (in Colloquial Egyptian).

 

قالوا للقضي حيطة شخ عليها الكلب قال لازم هدّها قالوا دي اللي بيننا وبينكم قال قليل من الماء يطهرها

 

They said to the Qadi: A wall – the dog pissed on it.

He said: Obligatory to knock it down.

They said: That adjoining between us and you (plural).

He said: A little water purifies it.

 

[It's a lot pithier in Arabic.]

 

This sort of situational ethics has become the norm of far too many Jews that support all sorts of racist practices in the Israeli context even though historically in the American context Jews have opposed discriminatory laws when applied to Jews and often also when applied to non-Jews.

 

The Jewish insistence on Holocaust restitution is quite hypocritical when far too many Jews make all sorts of mental contortions to justify the refusal to restore properties or residence rights of which Palestinians have been wrongfully deprived.

 

US foreign policy like that of other great powers has long suffered from a similar sort of hypocrisy, but since Jewish Zionist Neocons become dominant in the US policy-making establishment, US foreign policy hypocrisy -- now resulting from attention both to American and also to Zionist interests -- has reached hitherto unachieved heights when officials like Condi Rice address the ME, Russia and Georgia. 

 

Similar pretence has spread throughout the DOJ, for the Bush administration uses the court system to persecute Muslim charities at the same time Jewish and Zionist individuals and organizations provide massive ongoing material support of Zionist terrorism.

 

Any American believing in equality before the law should be offended.

 

Not only are far too many Americans clueless about history or foreign policy issues, but all sense of morality or fundamental American principles has been lost. Support for Zionism spreads poison throughout American culture and especially among those like Richard Land and his white evangelical associates and supporters, who claim to be most concerned with American values.

Condoleezza Rice's Comedy Routine

There is really nothing to add to this Greenwald piece except that back when Condi was a Sovietologist, her academic achievements were meager, and she was in the process of moving out of the scholar track before the fall of the Soviet Union. To put it another way, if she were a great scholar, it would have been a waste of her time to serve as Stanford Provost. Her Wikipedia page states,

According to R. Nicholas Burns, President [George H. W.] Bush was "captivated" by Rice, and relied heavily on her advice in his dealings with Mikhail Gorbachev and Boris Yeltsin.

In other words, no one deserves the Caucasus mess more than she does. We can wish her success in her new career as a stand-up comedienne once she and George W. Bush leave their respective offices.

Rice: Military power is "not the way to deal in the 21st century"

It's hardly news that the U.S., like many countries, espouses standards that it routinely violates, but still, even in light of such routine hypocrisy, wouldn't you think that this, from Condoleezza Rice today, on an airplane to U.S. reporters while traveling to a NATO meeting, would be too brazen to utter:

Russia is a state that is unfortunately using the one tool that it has always used whenever it wishes to deliver a message and that's its military power. That's not the way to deal in the 21st century.

Whatever one's views are on the justifiability of each isolated instance, it's simply a fact that the U.S. invades, bombs, occupies, and interferes in the internal affairs of other countries far more than any other country on the planet. It's not even a close competition.

Petroleum: Driving Force in Zionism

It's Always Been About Oil

Zionists and oil have been a major headline topic from [WSJ] Perle Linked to Kurdish Oil Plan* at the end of July to the Russian intervention in the formally (or formerly) Georgian regions South Ossetia and Abkhazia.

Many commentators like the Jewish Zionist Neocon Krauthammer have discussed Russian desire to control the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline. Of course, such analysts refrain from mentioning the equally strong intent of Zionists to gain control of oil resources throughout the world in order to profit from them. In addition, the Zionist intelligentsia views private corporate ownership as the means to guarantee that Arab or Muslim governments cannot ever use the oil weapon against Israel as happened in 1973.**

In general, the Kremlin has no tolerance for competing power centers within the Russian Federation or within the Russian sphere of influence as the experience of Russian Jewish oligarch Khodorkovski has shown. Surprise on the part of American foreign policy makers can only be attributed to incompetence because the period leading up to the attack on Georgia has been characterized by a surfeit of warning signs from Russia including (without limitation):

• support for Serbia during the Clinton administration,
• support for Abkhazian and South Ossetian separatism in Georgia,
• crushing Chechen separatists,
• support for pro-Russian political parties in the Ukraine,
• intimidation of the Ukraine over natural gas requirements,
• attempts to arrest other Russian Jewish oligarchs,
• stalling over Iranian nuclear ambitions,resistance to the expansion of NATO,
• opposition to the US attack on Iraq,
• opposition to using sites within Poland and the Czech Republic for missile defense shield technology, and
• rejection of independence for Kosovo.

The Russian government is almost certainly unhappy with the expansion of Zionist Jewish philanthropic politics and manipulation throughout the former Soviet Union.

While Russia has at least some influence over Ukrainian politics, Zionists have developed close relations with both the Saakashvili regime and the originally Jewish oligarch-led opposition with the result of effectively excluding the Russians.

When the USA showed weakness in its confrontation with Iran, the temptation for the Russian Federation to act must have been irresistible in the face of increasing Georgian provocation.

Not only is the Jewish Zionist involvement in the oil politics of the Caucasus nothing new, but it even dates from the earliest period in the development of Zionism.

Shortly after the discovery of petroleum in the region of the Baku in 1879, the French Rothschilds began to invest in Czarist Russia with the hope of exploiting the oil resources. The targeted assassination of Czar Alexander II by a Jewish led terrorist organization created an anti-Jewish reaction that threatened Rothschild goals and that provided an incentive for the development of Zionist politics among Russian Jews.

The French Rothschilds in the 1880s do not seem to have been much interested in Zionism per se, and they probably could not really distinguish one form of Russian Jewish radical politics from another, but creating or supporting Jewish colonies in Palestine could easily have appeared to the Rothschild family as a sort of pressure release valve that could prove to the Czarist government the benefits of working with the French Rothschilds to develop an oil industry.

By the late 1890s explorers had found evidence of sizable oil deposits in Ottoman Mesopotamia. D'Arcy Exploration (later Anglo-Iranian Oil Co.) discovered commercial oil in 1908 at Masjid-i-Suleiman in Iran. During the same time period, Herzl had developed the Dreyfus case as a gimmick to market Zionism by scare-mongering the possibility of pogroms in Western Europe.

Probably inspired by fear and self-interest the British Rothschilds put their financial resources into the service of Zionism just as they were investing in Anglo-Iranian Oil Co. Because Russian Jews were already heavily involved in the Russian oil service industry thanks to French Rothschild investments, the British Rothschilds could even justify their efforts on behalf of Zionism as a way to bring useful personnel to the ME to work in a ME oil industry.

Because the Ottoman Empire was an impediment both to Zionism and to full exploitation of Middle Eastern oil by the UK, it had to go -- at least in the minds of Zionist leaders, who made a lot of money available to British politicians of the same opinion during the period leading to WWI. These political investments culminated in the Balfour declaration and in the vivisection of the Ottoman Empire in the aftermath of WWI despite the worries of the British foreign office about the geostrategic implications and the effect among British imperial Muslim subjects.***

Even though a significant number of the British government officials opposed Zionism right from the start, they never hindered Zionist efforts to any great extent. British Zionist leader Herbert Samuel became the first High Commissioner to Mandatory Palestine, and the Haifa-Mosul pipeline was put into operation in 1931.

The marriage of the Eastern European Zionist intelligentsia to Western European Jewish plutocracy within the realm of late 19th and early 20th century oil politics forms the original and continuing basis of the Zionist imperial system, whose virtual colonial motherland I call Judonia.

The Judonian lust to control Caucasian, Middle Eastern and world oil supplies has grown ever stronger in the almost century since the Balfour Declaration was addressed to Walter Rothschild and has colored Bush administration Neocon-inspired policies toward the ME, Venezuela, and the territories of the former Soviet Union.

Modern international politics is only comprehensible with a thorough understanding of the relationship between petroleum and Judonia as long as care is taken to distinguish between Judonia and Jews.

Ever since Zionist Jewish oligarchs took control of Jewish education throughout the world, far too many Jews confuse the interests of ordinary Jews and those of Judonia, but Judonia serves only the Zionist Jewish oligarchy and intelligentsia. For Judonia ordinary Jews are simply a resource and nothing more.

Rosett is of course not fooling her readers - simply because nobody reads the atrocious Sun.

With "journalists" as thick-headed and oblivious to the story featuring so prominently in the paper's pages, there's no real reason to bother. Rosett's 700-page gloat plays up the fact that the once mighty Saddam reduced to the figure of a "bedraggled fugitive cowering facedown with his gun in a hole in the ground" will serve as a potent "symbol of defeat" for "terrorists," by which she means Muslims. Of immediate note to anyone at all paying attention, one wonders how this pathetic cowering tyrant was able to orchestrate the loyalists and foreign terrorists that comprise the Iraqi resistance in the Sun's telling literally from a hole in the ground. Ms. Rosett chooses not to trouble herself with so obvious a question.

Jewish Philanthropy and Jewish Politics

War in Georgia: The Israeli connection - Israel News, Ynetnews indicates that the Great Game has resumed in the Caucasus and that the State of Israel is a full participant.

Since the nineteenth century ad hoc and formal Jewish groups have used philanthropy as a means of expanding political influence. (See Philanthropic Politics.)

The Russian Daily (Novoye Russkoye Slovo) is the local Boston Russian Jewish newspaper. The June 19th issue contains an article entitled "Great Honor for a Great Man," which indicates the continuing connection of Jewish philanthropy, Jewish manipulation, and Jewish politics. Translation (I apologize for deficiencies. I do not really know Russian, but I have a lot of experience in Slavic languages in general.)

By no means for the first time, major businessman and philanthropist, prominent Jewish figure, Alexander Mashkevich, the President of the of Euro-Asian Congress, to which belongs all the Jewish communities of the Commonwealth of Independent States of the pacific ocean region and Eastern Europe, has been presented with an award on American soil. The merits of Mashkevich are so great and have such a high international significance that year after year one or another Jewish charitable organization in the USA makes him its nominee for its award.

Here and now to me as the editor in chief of Novoye Russkoye Slovo (Russian Daily -- literally New Russian Word), it has brought enormous joy to be invited to Washington for the presentation to him of an award of the influential Jewish organization NCSJ [National Council of Soviet Jewry]. It presented the award to him as a champion of charitable endeavors, philanthropy, and in addition as a person who has made the greatest, largest contribution to the cause of coming together -- rapprochement -- of the nations, to genuine tolerance, and to truly friendly intercommunal dialogue.

That is why in opening the award ceremony the well known public figure Richard Stone, who at one time stood by the sources (the original founders) of the program for the liberation of Soviet Jews "Let My People go" said that in the present day -- an extremely tense time -- possibly just such activity is the most constructive for the improvement of the image of the Jewish people, the State of Israel, and on the whole for the preservation of peace. This thought was continued by the head of the NCSJ Eward Robin, who appeared and spoke at the ceremony. He stressed how important are the efforts of Alexander Mashkevich in uniting former Soviet Jews living in various countries.

"Two million dynamic, enterprises, educated and realistic (i.e., oriented toward achievement in the real word?) people exert more and more influence on positive shifts in the social consciousness are examples of fruitful cooperation with friendly nations and religions," he remarked.

"I see in him an exemplary career as a Doctor of Philosophy and as a bright representative of world Jewry," the Acting Director of the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations, Malcolm Hoenlein said in a fiery speech. "Our Jewish life is like a tree on which in every historical period all new branches appear. That branch to whose concern Mashkevich has dedicated himself has been destined to prosper and bear fruit."

The award took place in one of the most beautiful and respectable places in Washington in the Hillwood Estate Historic Museum. Practically the whole Jewish establishment came gathered together. Ambassadors of all the states of the CIS honored Mashkevich. To share with Mashkevich joy at the award his American friend-partners in business and charitable activity came to attend. Timur Sapir, Tefik Arif, and Alimzhon Ibragimov flew here especially from Kazakhstan. The last, in particular, said, "I came for the holiday of my brother. I am a Uigur, Alexander a Jew. We have different nations, different religions, but we are brothers. And nothing can divide us. All the people on earth can be brothers. This is what Alexander Mashkevich brings to them."

Ersatz Versus Real Russian Empire

Simon Jenkins argues in Bush rebuking Russia? Putin must be splitting his sides
(The Guardian, Aug 13 2008) :

Moscow has to take some of the blame. But it is the west's policy of liberal interventionism that has fuelled war in Georgia.

Yet, Jenkins does not capture the full magnitude of the joke.

In U.S. Diplomat's Letter of Resignation, J. Brady Kiesling asks:

Is the Russia of the late Romanovs really our model, a selfish, superstitious empire thrashing toward self-destruction in the name of a doomed status quo?

Zionism reached its final form in the late Czarist state and imprinted on Russian imperialism as the normal behavior of a Great Power.

Neocons steeped in Zionist ideology, acting as a Jewish special interest, and holding some of the most powerful positions in the US government, have almost reflexively proposed policy in conformance with the belief that the normal behavior of a Superpower like the USA must follow the example of the imagined brutality of the Czarist Empire of Zionist narrative.[xiv]
