Terrorism exposed at San Jose State

Students and the community will get the chance to experience the personal impact of terrorism at San Jose State University during a two-week campus summit. 

    The "X-Ray Project" will be held at the Martin Luther King, Jr. Library in downtown San Jose starting Sunday, Nov. 4 focusing on the theme "Inside Global Terrorism: From Personal Impacts to World Responses."

     Displays of X-rays and CT Scans of victims of terror from Jerusalem's two largest hospitals will be displayed in sculptures on the fourth floor of the library, while a series of forums and discussions will take place on the second floor. 

    Programming includes a consuls general panel on the topic "How Terrorism is Impacting our Countries," Judea Pearl, the father of slain journalist Daniel Pearl, will speak on "Fighting the Ideology of Terrorism," and Dr. Todd Zalut, head of the emergency department at Shaare Zedek Hospital in Jerusalem, Israel  will host a video conference.
