For over four decades, Mahmoud Darwish was the pre-eminent Palestinian poet, a leading figure both in Arabic letters and on the world literary stage. Mahmoud Darwish passed away on 9 August, leaving behind dozens of works translated into over 20 languages. Please join us in marking the end of the customary 40-day mourning period ("*arba'in*") with a celebration of his life and work.
