Harvard Professor Crushed in Freak Accident

In a freak accident today on the strip of Harvard, Professor Stephen Walt was crushed to death under a Caterpillar tractor. The incident happened in front of the Kennedy Government Center. A school spokesperson said the land was being cleared for new law student settlements. The Dozer operater, A. Dershowitz, was on loan to the Harvard Israel Defense Forces from another department when the incident occurred. Dershowitz said he did not see Walt jumping up and down in a red vest in front of the tractor nor did he hear his screams of agony. Although ten eye witnesses disagreed, Dershowitz was not charged. Upon hearing of the incident the United States House of Representatives voted 420 to 15 not to investigate. In a related story today Argentina granted political asylum to Professor John Mearsheimer formerly of the University of Chicago.

Is this just fantasy. (A quick google search gives no hint of Walt’s death.)
Also, could you please tell me are either Walt or Mearsheimer Jewish, because if so it would be more difficult for certain people to dismiss their work as anti-you-know what?

Unfortunately, the outrageous behavior of the organized Jewish community and the Israel Lobby makes it hard to construct a scenario that is amusing but obviously implausible.
Satire: Dershowitz gets Arab expelled from Harvard caused a flood of emails to the Harvard President's office.
Sinah is hatred in Hebrew.
Harogaravski means "kill an Arab" - ski.
And the fundraiser idea is taken from a complaint about Zionist fundraising that Rabbi Elkhonon Wasserman made in the 1920s.
Walt is Jewish. Farar, Straus, Giroux even attempted to market The Israel Lobby and U.S. Foreign Policy as a Jewish book during Summer '07.
Oh my god, Joachim please don't do this again! I scanned the top of the article with the photo and was getting ready to immediately forward it far and wide and luckily I read the rest of it and realized that it was sadly satirical. It is a marvelous satire and surely may come to pass eventually but please try to hint that what you say comes from a "reliable but unknown source" as many times I just read the first 2 paragraphs of any message I receive from any of my RELIABLE sources and immediately prepare to forward. I've done many gaffes in the past using this lazy message reading and forwarding process.

I fixed the blog entry to lead with Satire.
I thought recounting events three years in the future was sufficient, but I guess it was too far into the entry.
The last time I sent one of these, the "Satire" lead on the title was not sufficient to stop irate letters to the Harvard president.
I know people think of me as this ultra-serious computer geek, who knows more than anyone should about Jewish studies, but I work with a Hollywood and Hollywood-wannabe director on adding (mostly black) humor to screenplays.
I would much prefer writing genuine literature (or at least movie scripts) to grinding out political analysis.
Believe me I love satire and I find that there are a lot of people in baza who sometimes don't know what I'm talking about as I'm laughing heartily at myself. I appreciate your humor and am glad to hear that you have this other side. I used to spend too much of my time laughing when I was younger. I always gravitated toward people who could make me laugh.However, now I'll just have to read more carefully in the future. HA! HA !
